We are absolutely heart broken to be announcing the closure of our beloved shop.

After much consideration we have made the difficult decision to close our doors. Due to a change in personal circumstances and many other factors out of our control like the unplanned long road closures and constantly rising costs we are no longer able to keep the shop operating. This was not an easy choice and we are truly very saddened to be announcing this.

We wanted to say a massive thank you to all our customers for supporting us over the years. It has been a pleasure to meet you all, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your pet's lives. We have loved getting to know you all and hearing your stories, we cherish every single wagging tail and joyful bark that has filled our shop with happiness. Thank you for your trust and loyalty it has meant the world to us.

We will be closing our doors on the 28th of February for the final time. Please come and take advantage of our closing down sale everything apart from complete minces will be reduced up to 50% OFF starting tomorrow.

Donna has seen our advert on a local Facebook group about how disruptive the roadworks are for our business at the moment and popped in to grab a few toys and treats for her gorgeous German Shepherds.

As many of you know we have called our shop after the husky in the Disney film Togo🐾

The movie was based on a real life story where Togo has helped to deliver a serum during a snowstorm for a disease that broke out in the village. As we opened our shop because of our beloved dog, Hades who has led us to discover raw feeding through his allergies. We loved the idea of Togo as our shop name 😀

Anyway today we have met an actual Togo. How crazy is that? Togo is a Husky/ Golden Retriever mix ❤️

We've finally had the pleasure of meeting one of our regular customers today, the adorable Bailey 😍 Just look at his cute face ❤️

He came in for his usual food top up and has managed to grab a warm Ancol coat as well as some treats and toys 😊

Two beautiful Chihuahuas who came to us after struggling with upset tummies for a while. After chatting with their mum she made the decision to switch them onto raw and they're doing absolutely amazing now on our Yorkshire Raw rolls😃

We wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has followed our page in the last couple of days 😊 By supporting our small business you are helping to support our little family and we couldn't appreciate you more.

That's why we wanted to reintroduce ourselves. If you've been to our shop you have definitely met me (Patricia) and my partner Damian. Damian is the guy who delivers your orders and probably the only delivery driver your dogs don't bark at 😆 We have a 3 year old daughter who's always in our shop trying to stroke all the dogs she meets, and one stubborn Husky called Hades.

We got Hades when he was 4 months old and ever since he's always had trouble with digesting food. We spent months and probably hundreds of pounds trying to figure out what would be the best food for him, but instead we were running around in circles. He either had a dodgy tummy and very loose stools or wouldn't touch the food at all. At one point we felt like he'd just be better off eating what we were eating but thankfully at that point we discovered raw feeding.

Raw feeding wasn't as popular back then but we gave it a go and Hades loved it 😃 Not to say that we had some stumbles along the transitioning process and discovered a few intolerances but we persisted and it paid off. Right after we made the decision to transition our senior staffy, Brown, who also benefited from the diet change. We've learned that Hades is in fact easily upset by grain as well as large amounts of veg in his food.

After years of raw feeding when my maternity leave was ending we decided to take the plunge and set up Togo's. I always loved animals, dogs in particular, but never realised I could work with dogs without having to be a vet or a trainer. We figured out if Hades was so easily upset by grain it was likely many other dogs were too. So Togo's came to live out of pure passion to help people and their dogs in a similar situation and to being able to do something we love everyday.

Alongside our raw feeding experience. I'm in the process of completing a Level 3 Canine & Feline Raw Feeding degree. We love research and reading up about all the new studies in the Canine nutrition world. I also love listening to The RawPetMedics and their Tuesday live streams as I'm constantly trying to grow my knowledge to be able to help all our customers and their dogs. We absolutely love your transitioning stories about how much your dogs have improved since they switched to raw and it's exactly why we run this shop.

As we expand and grow our business we do want to introduce some alternative to raw though. We do realise it's not for everyone and there are many different brands of dog food that are great for them too. Our ultimate goal is to stock all the natural products for your pets without the nasties and the hidden ingredients. As well as some other unique and quirky toys and accessories.
