This beautiful smooshy creature became a star in the sky yesterday evening. It was time to say goodbye to her. It was not a hard decision and I knew it was the kindest last thing I could do for her. Crazy but she gave us so much love and pleasure and had the sweetest soul. We didn’t imagine she would make such an imprint on our lives. She was soon to turn four and we are grateful for the time we had with her. We fell lucky with Button. We are very sad. We will bury her today and we have ordered a little rose bush called “bright as a Button” so fitting. ⭐️Good night Button Brown

So. I’ve started a new venture. It’s a gamble but I’m determined to make this work and I am a believer in dreaming big. Ive come to realise making clothes for babies is something I love doing. Being creative and seeing the finished product is such a great feeling. That real ‘I did that’ feeling. I’m working hard alongside Prickle Post to try and run a small handmade baby clothes business. I’m trying to be original with my fabrics and the ideas I have are endless. Please give a follow and j would really appreciate your support. The support I received when first starting button brown was phenomenal and me and vic have achieved so much with prickle post. . It’s my dream to own a small boutique shop there’s my big dream I’m chasing.

Bit of a rubbish week. Poor Frankie has been having a phantom pregnancy. Boy has she suffered. She is constantly crying and pacing around the vet said she will be looking for her puppies 🥺 she has been carrying her teddies round and putting them in her bed, she has been producing milk and even has a lumpy saggy tummy. And we have not slept for over a week. The photos are of a clingy sad franks, o r is where I have spent all week sleeping… on the sofa and the last picture is the Medicine that cost me £98 today but if it makes her right it’s worth it.

Sunday dressing gown cuddles with beautiful Button. It’s her birthday next month 3 whole years! She still has the lump in her mouth but the injections have given her an extra year I didn’t think she would have. ❤️❤️🙏🏻🦔

This is how my afternoon looks Ariel and my bobbin. Today is the first day I have felt a little better. I’m still hobbling around but today I managed without the strong day-time pain killers today so not as groggy. Hope everyone is doing ok? I’ll show you what I’m making later (if it goes to plan) 😜

Announcement!!! So tomorrow I’m for a little trip to hospital for some long awaited surgery. Typically it’s on my knees 🙄 so I’m gonna be off my feet for a while. We are hoping you won’t notice too much of a disruption to services but you may experience some delays when ordering any items that Include sewn items! Most items are in stock ready to go. I’m hoping to be back fighting fit soon !!

When Button met Frankie 🥰 so this went well Frankie was so gentle and then decided she didn’t really care Button was good too but did have the odd huff. But it’s was all nice and gentle. So I can now have peaceful cuddles with them both

So I have been very busy getting ready for the new year. I have had a new sewing room/office fitted out this last week and a little sausage has managed to have a lovely little nook up here with me.
