We would like to wish the boss, Richard a very happy birthday! We hope you have a fantastic day today, having lots of kisses and cuddles from all the dogs and cats up in the kennels. All the staff are so thankful for everything you do for us and we all appreciate you ❤️. It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Wilffred Parkinson, on 12th September.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Liz, Richard, Allison, and the girls at this very difficult time.

Wilf will be laid to rest on 29th September. As he will be leaving from the kennels that day, we will be closed between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm to allow us a moment of privacy and respect.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we say goodbye to someone so very special.

Lindrick Boarding Kennels and Cattery is a family owned business in Worksop.
We are an established kennels offering Rescue and Residential Boarding facilities.

We are looking for a new hard working, committed and enthusiastic person to join our team.

Suitable applicants will require the following.

* Experience of working with different breeds of dogs.

* Confident and capable of safely handling large breed dogs with all types of behaviours.

* Keen to work and be a committed member of the team

* A passion and understanding of dogs.

* Have the ability to listen and follow instructions.

* Be friendly & approachable with customers.

*This is a 0 hour contract but can range from 16-40 hours

* Driving License is required.

The role will include cleaning, feeding, walking & playing with the Dogs, Cats and Rabbits
Monitoring the animals wellbeing, administering medications and record keeping.

Ideal candidates would be able to ensure our dogs have stimulation and interaction and be able to notice changes in a dogs behaviour.

Must be available to work between 8am-6pm, Monday-Sunday on a rota basis.

Weekend working, Christmas Day, New year and bank holidays is required.

☀️Hot weather notice ☀️

We would just like to make a notice for all the worried owners that are in the sunny weather today. Whilst we may be getting all hot and sticky, your pets are in the most comfortable state they can be. Our team are working very hard to make sure all animals in our care are as comfortable as they can be with this glorious heat wave we are currently having. We are slightly shortening your pets walk so they get back to their cool kennels. Here is the difference of what outside is like compared to their kennels. Whilst on their walk every paddock has a pool in for your pooches to have a splash and cool off 🥰 here's some of our doggies showing how it's done.

💞 Special Sunday 💞

This week special Sunday star is sweet oldie Charlie. Charlie has been a regular boarder for quite some time at lindrick. Everytime Charlie comes in you know he's here with his sweet songs that he likes to sing to us. Charlie has 3 legs however that doesn't stop him even in his old age he can still do laps around us and will then toddle back in for his nap 🥰 we all love little man Charlie and can't wait to have him again soon

✂️Groom room transformations ✂️

This week's star for groom room transformations is big boy ceaser and sweet baby borris.
Ceaser is no stranger to grooming however it was his first time coming to lindrick for his pamper and he was exceptionally well behaved and a big superstar for everything. Little man borris has had his second ever groom with me and was such a good boy for everything including his huge deshed, at just 8 months old he was so brave and allowed me to get all the big tufts out. I can't wait to see these 2 handsome boys again 🥰
