Due to the rise in costs, rent and products, I will be having a price increase from Monday 6th January. This may not effect some as it will be a standard rate across each breed etc. It should not effect anyone drastically. Please see below and if you have any questions please give me a message!

🎄Christmas Bookings🎄

Apologies for bringing up the C word before we’ve even had Halloween😂🎃 Butttt…..

My diary is now open for Christmas bookings! As you know with my couple days a week spaces are limited so if you’d like your pooches in before Christmas please give me a message and we can get you booked up to then. Whether it is for a full groom or just a Christmas bath🤩

My last working days before Christmas will be the 18th & 19th December. I will do my best to get everyone wanting an appointment in.

*Terms & Conditions for Groomingwithams*

Apologies for the negative (and long) post but unfortunately I need and wanted to make everyone aware/remind of my terms and conditions.

No show - 100% fee - If you do not show up to your appointment without making me aware it will require full payment to be made. Unfortunately it happens far to often and as most of you are aware I rent a table, so whether you show up or not I will still be paying for that time.

Cancellation within 24 hours - a cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment will require 50% payment. Again it’s hard to fill a slot in short notice. Some scenarios I completely understand and are unforeseeable so this may be wavered or brought down to 25% if I feel it’s acceptable.

Fleas - All dogs with fleas will result in a £15 extra charge. Please make me aware if your dog has/had fleas in the last 2 weeks. If made aware I will be able to give them a flea bath and once blasted with the dryer all the fleas will be gone and will be easier for you to treat them. If your dog has fleas and it’s due for a groom I will make sure it is the last dog of the day so there is no cross contamination, This also gives me the time to be able to flea bomb the parlour without having to close down for the rest of the day.

Matting - There will be a £10 charge for severely matted dogs. If your dog arrives matted I will have no other option but to shave the dog off for it’s own safety. Matts can cause sores on the skin leading to pain. As stated in the animal welfare act (2006), we cannot ‘brush’ these out, they must be clipped. Matting is classed as neglect, make sure you are brushing your dog ATLEAST once a day and keep them on a 6-8 weekly schedule for grooming.

15 minute grace period - If you are running late please let me know. If you are later than 15 minutes to your allocated appointment I will not have time to complete your dogs groom to the best possible standard. A choice of a bath and tidy or a dry cut will be offered if able to get to us within enough time to do so. This will still be full price with additional £5 late fee on top.

Rebooking - As many of you are aware I do automatically prebook my regulars, this is because I only do 3 days so they get booked up a few weeks in advance. I always try and do my best to squeeze people in but sometimes it’s just not possible! So please try and rebook with me at the pick up of your appointment or let me know your schedule and preferred day/time and I can pre book this for you and hand it to you on collection!

I am currently looking into an online booking system where you will receive text reminders 48 hours before appointment and I may potentially have to start taking deposits for appointments.
