The inHAYle Xtra is perfect for the yard and so easy to take with us in the lorry—it’s on wheels, has a handle, and even stores upright, making it super practical and portable.

✅Unlike soaked hay steamed hay preserves its nutrients & can be fed up to 24hrs. Soaked hay should be fed quickly

To all inHAYle Hay Steamer customers:

Now that the frosty mornings are here it’s important to follow the “Working in freezing conditions” section of your user manual.

To maintain the operational health of your inHAYle Hay Steamer during freezing conditions follow the guidelines below:

• Disconnect the flexi hose from the steam generator
• Unscrew the filler cap on the steam generator and empty all the water out
• Tip the hay chest so that any water inside can disburse
• Make sure the flexi hose pipe is free from water

***Warning…
•If ice has formed in the hay chest/generator move both to a warm space and allow the ice to melt naturally.

•If you attempt to use your inHAYle Hay Steamer when it is frozen there is the risk of back pressure, meaning the steam will not be able to escape and will back up inside the steam generator and escape through the pressure relief valve.

•Only use your inHAYle Hay Steamer when you are sure that the ice has completely melted and there is no risk of damage.

•Never use antifreeze or similar in your steam generator. This will be a health hazard to your horse and will damage your steam generator voiding your warranty.
