Puppy Playgroup

Managed and careful socialisation asap for your pup will help build a more resilent and well balanced companion. There will be no free running in the session. In order to give all pups the best experience we strive for a calm and quiet environment with lots of space between the pups so we are able to ensure any meetings are appropriate.
Designed specially for puppies (8-12 weeks) that cannot yet safely go out and about have had their first vaccination but not their second.
To provide your puppy with the chance to socialise, build confidence and experience the world safely. The hall is disinfected prior to and after the session with equipment, rugs, toys etc kept exclusively for Puppy Playgroup sessions.

- Zoomies (over excitement)
- Toilet Training
- Mental Enrichment Games
- KAD Kids Around DogsĀ® qualified instructor
- Socialisation and confidence Dog Parkour UK qualified instructor

A safe, friendly environment for pups and owners to experience new environments and recieve support from a qualified and experienced trainer. The hall is disinfected prior to the class as well as straight after using a veterinary grade disinfectant. Overshoes must be worn or shoes must be taken off in class to avoid bringing the outside in and putting the pups at risk.
Lots of different surfaces, textures and things to explore. Think of a puppy parties at the vet only in a hall.

Our most common request for help is walking on the lead and recall. In this new package we are offering:
A recorded webinar to provide background information about what we are doing and why
1 x 50 min 1:1 session learning the basic strategies we are going to implement
1 x 50 min small group walk session, maximum of 3 dogs in a controlled and managed walk
1 x 90 min small group walk session, maximum of 5 dogs making use of fields, paths and woods to really practice the techniques in a simulated scenario.
We will be focusing on:
- Connection - quietly keeping an eye on one another without excessive cues
- Proximity between you and your dog
- Signalling when we are walking, when is free time and when is time to stop and relax
- Building looking to you for permission and guidance rather than becoming self employed
- Navigating gateways
- As well as walking as part of a group or in close proximity to other dogs
As with everything this is a force free course based on ensuring you and your dog improve and understand each other's connection. No harsh corrections. And group walking will be managed and assessed before as well as during to ensure that everyone gets the most out of the experience. We don't want you coming away feeling worse than when you came!
Spaces are limited, and additional 1:1 sessions are avalible to add on.

My focus is to use play and fun to help teach obedience and training methods. As dogs learn easier when they are having fun and owners enjoy the sessions more too. Adolescent Dog Training Classes Reg and Ted Enclosed Dog Field

Does it now seem like they have their deaf ears on and everything you thought you'd taught them has gone out of the window?
You're not alone!
During the adolescent phase our dogs have hormones surging through them that can sometimes override their ability to listen or make sensible decisions.
This class will help you regain connection with your tearaway and look at the basics such as walking nicely, recall, basic obedience as well as fun games to play!
2 trainers and a maximum of 4 dogs per session.
