RIP beautiful Tali - it’s never easy losing dogs but you were more than that. You came for holidays & I loved you like you were my own. Your parents trusted me with your haircuts from the start (I’m sorry I gave you some dodgy ones). Thank you for being the best company and making me laugh at your funny ways. I will miss your little grumbles & your immediate scavenging for forgotten treats on the floor before saying hello. Dear customers,

I will now only be taking dogs on a schedule appropriate to their coat type. I am finding more and more dogs are arriving for their grooming knotted. Any curly/combo coats will need to be groomed at no longer than 6 week intervals.

I will be going through my diary this weekend and rebooking everyone.

As you know, I always put humanity before vanity which means I only shave to the skin or cut the matts out - I will not brush out knots as I will never hurt your dogs.

When your dogs are overdue, it makes the grooming a less enjoyable experience for the them. They have to stand for longer, I have to spend more time using my scissors to split the matts (blunting them), then brushing & blending. A shave off also means a blunt blade which is costly to get re-sharpened.

My curly coat & combo coat breeds prices are increasing as I’m finding they’re taking a considerable amount of time due to the above. This will take effect on 1st April 2024.

The cost of sharpening and products has increased and I need to match the price of grooming to my skill & personal service provided.
