⭐️ Polite Notice ⭐️

I will not tolerate verbal or physical abuse in my shop, online or on the phone towards me or any of my staff.

We are HUMAN, errors can occur and we work hard to make sure they’re resolved as fast as possible.

There have been some issues in store the last couple of days due to internet and phone lines meaning our online system is down and not processing the orders properly, although this is undeniably frustrating the staff worked hard yesterday to try and phone every customer to update them on the situation.

We’re greatful for the 99% of our customers who were understanding. But I now need to inform you, if you scream at my staff, shout or be just completely rude we will look to refund your order and we will not serve you again.

I hate doing posts like these, but it needs to be said unfortunately 😔

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙤 𝙞 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙜/cat? - We can help with this! We always use your dogs current weight, activity level and body condition to determine how much food intake your pet may need daily. If the current weight is unknown, if you are a local customer we may ask you to bring them in so we can pop them onto the scales, but if this option is not suited to you we will used the expected adult weight if the breed is known.

𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙮 𝙥𝙚𝙩? - We stock a variation of different brands. Each brand has its own uniqueness whether that be the range of flavours, the packaging, the quality or the price. No brand is the same. We have some brands that are more budget friendly, some that are more moist, some that are dry and some which are perfect! We also have brands in store catered for smaller breed cats/dogs! These are popular as they are portioned into smaller portions within their pack.

𝘿𝙤 𝙞 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙞𝙩? - The simple answer is NO! As a high majority of minces that we sell contain bone, if you were to cook this would make the bone hazard a huge hazard. Cooked bone has a significantly high chance of splintering into small, sharp shards which could get stuck within your pets throat or gut. We will always recommend serving the meat raw once thawed. We do have some brands in store that you are able to cook, but please ask a member of staff for assistance if this is your preferred method.

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙢𝙮 𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚? - We try and work through each order as quickly as we can. Receiving hundreds of orders weekly can become a very stressful time but we are always focused and switched on the when sorting through orders. Collection orders are worked through daily as we try and ensure same day collection can be guaranteed in most cases. Local deliveries are made 3 times per week, Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s. We have a local delivery range of roughly 7.5 miles from store covering parts of Wrexham, Chester, Mold and areas in between. There is a £5 local delivery charge as this helps us to cover fuel and delivery driver costs, as some days we can experience up to 30 local deliveries!😳 National deliveries are dispatched Monday-Thursday, to be delivered Tuesday-Friday. We now have a 1-3 working day dispatch time policy as we are continuously growing online and we are limited to how many parcels we can send out per day. Once a shipping label has been created and a your order has been fulfilled, you will receive an email which includes your tracking number, and you’ll be able to see every part of your parcels journey!📦 (Please include an email/contact number on your order!)

𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙘𝙠? - With the majority of our brands, there is always an active order waiting to be delivered. With us being so busy online & instore we have constant orders coming every other day, but as we are so busy we are sold out normally within 2-3 days. Our Stobart range is always in stock to ensure there is still variety for our customers to choose from. Sometimes our suppliers can deliver to us within a matter of days, but as we all know they can face some issues leaving us without stock for up to 2 weeks!🥩

𝘿𝙤 𝙞 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙙𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙜𝙨 𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙩? - A balanced complete diet contains all the nutrients and vitamins your pets need on a day to day basis. We are always upfront with customers and tell them they do not need to add anything else. We will only recommend supplements when a customer is asking for our help or advice on a certain issue. For example; itchy skin, diarrhoea, anxiety. We have many different supplements in-store to help able to help your pet with whatever they may be suffering with, and will always review within a couple of weeks.

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙩 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙? - Once thawed, we recommend using within 2 days to ensure the best quality. This is assuming it has been stored correctly after thawing, by keeping it chilled in the fridge in a sealed container and away from any other food/drink items. If the meat has an ‘off’ smell to it, then discard immediately and DO NOT feed to your pet.

𝘾𝙖𝙣 𝙞 𝙢𝙞𝙭 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨? - YES! WE recommend using and mixing different brands as it’s always good to give your pet a variety of flavours and textures! If you feed the same texture and flavour continuously for a long period of time, this can cause your pet to become fussy and not take to any other brand/flavour in the future.

𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙜? - It’s true, they are! Natural treats are packed with many health benefits, nutrients and no nasty additives, they’re completely natural! Natural treats are mostly single protein (unless stated otherwise)and, they’re grain free which helps prevent the triggering of allergens. 💫 Important update for National Orders 💫

We can only apologise to our national customers, anyone who knows us knows we are transparent and honest.

We have used DHL as a courier, and it was the worst choice we have ever made. They have destroyed, lost and damaged parcels. We have been given videos of delivery drivers kicking boxes down the road, depot staff contacting us because they want to order meat after helping themselves to some after breaking a box, therefore our customer hasn’t received their parcels.

We have faced £1000’s of pounds worth of losses, with no insurances or cover for perishable goods. We have had to resend some parcels out upto 3 times and still had to refund customers (for one order this cost us £670 in losses)

We have been stuck in contract, and we are now at the point we are refusing to send anymore parcels out until we have switched to our new provider, we are hoping this will be done by Monday, but if not all national orders will be sent out Tuesday.

It’s been a very worrying time for our business, but we hope we can come back from this and continue to ship our meats around the UK as we have done for one whole year.
