AHDR Update;
You may notice over the next week or so, that our page may be a little quieter than normal. This is due to us taking in 11 dogs within 72 hours from a breeding situation which was very difficult to see.

We are still aiming to go back and get more when we can. 🤞🏽

We have seen many heartbreaking things in the world of rescue but this is up there with some of the worst. 🤯 We cannot go in to alot of detail as this individual is still working with us and allowing us to save these dogs.🐶

You will be seeing updates from these dogs as the weeks goes by. They are all needing different levels of rehab work. Some of these souls are coming along brilliantly and will soon be ready for their next steps in life, others are going to be with us a while.💛

We have taken in a husky, Mia who’s already online and ready to find her forever home. 🙏🏼We have also taken in 10 sprockers ranging from 10 months to 4 years. Some of these dogs have NEVER been handled before and all of them have never seen ‘normal’ life!😪

Even though there are no words to explain the fear these poor dogs are feeling currently, we are already making progress💕. Some more than others but we all know each soul is individual and they will work at their own paces. ✨

These are full litters of pups who couldn’t be sold due to the puppy market crash and then have been left with nothing, living in sheds and barns.💔🤬

As we try to teach them to trust humans again and they start wanting to be with us, eat with us and enjoy time with us, we will be posting updates about them. Even though some are frozen with fear we haven’t seen any aggression whatsoever!♥️

These guys are going to be worth every second of our efforts but they will be taking a lot of our time over the next few weeks. Once the behavioural side is improving, we then need to start planning the medical side. (Grooming, Vaccinations, flea, worm, microchip neutering - when they are ready!)🫶🏻

This is no small task and we are a very small rescue, but we were asked to help and these dogs deserve to know what it is to be loved as a family member!😘
