WEEKEND/PART TIME VACANCY
KENNEL ASSISTANT

• Fast paced physically demanding job with the ability to use own initiative.
• Experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
• Duties to include, exercising dogs, cleaning kennels to an exceptionally high standard, washing and drying dogs and general day to day care of the dogs.
• Must be happy to work within a team.
• Driving licence (preferable).
• Split hours approx. 7am -11am and 3pm – 6pm.
• Position available to work both Saturday and Sunday or just 1 day.
• Could lead to a permanent position.

Yesterday the unimaginable happened 😢🐶 our Millie unexpectedly passed away from liver cancer. My best pal of only 7years, the one who was by my side every step of the way and the one who gave us the idea to build our kennels. Millie had so many friends here which she loved causing carnage with , mainly trying to empty our food bins 🤣 but she loved running on the big paddocks with each and every one of your furbabies 💖 and those that knew Mill very well, knew how much she’d enjoy emptying your pockets for treats on arrival 🤣. The place wont be the same without you Mill. You were the best dog ever 🥹😢👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 and we love you 😘

We have 6 gorgeous Cockapoo puppies. Mum is a KC registered chocolate working cocker and dad is a KC registered miniature poodle, both are health tested and have excellent natures. The puppies have been raised in our family home and are used to children, other dogs and all household noise. Puppies

Pricing:

These prices include lots of exercise throughout the day, food and treats , Bedding, Heating, Administering of medication and Insurance.

1 Dog £30.00
2 dogs sharing from same household £41.00
3 dogs sharing from same household £49.00
4 dogs sharing from same household £56.00

These prices include first day of arrival regardless of time also that nights boarding, there is no charge for the day of departure if collected prior to 11.00am
If after 11.00am up until closing time then a full day rate would be incurred.

Monday to Friday -
9.00am til 11.30am & 3.30pm til 6.00pm.

Saturday & Sunday (including bank holidays)
9.00am til 11.30am then 3.30pm til 5.30pm.

Outside these times by prior agreement only. Please note that although we are open to board 365 days of the year, no check in or out can be done on Christmas Day/ Boxing Day/ New year day.

Christmas Day until New years day incurs a £10 per room extra charge to cover staffing costs.

Please note our check in/out times.
Should you collect your dog/s before the pre-agreed departure date/time, the charge would remain the same as the room would have been allocated for their entire stay.

Please read this information as this is mandatory for all dogs boarding with us at Laurel Grange Kennels:

We DO NOT accept any dogs without up to date vaccinations (Boosters) or the Kennel Cough Vaccine. Kennel Cough is not included in many vets booster package, please check with your vets about the Kennel Cough. (Kennel cough must be administered by a veterinarian a minimum of 14days before arrival) Evidence must be shown to the receptionist on arrival. We reserve the right to refuse admission of any dog that is not up to date with Kennel Cough or Booster Vaccinations.

If your dog is not able to have the Kennel Cough Vaccine due to advice from your vet, we may accept your dog/s with a vet note and you may be asked to sign and date a disclaimer stating we do not accept any responsibility for any problems that occur from no vaccination. Your dog will be isolated and will not be exercised with other dogs.

Dogs are expected to be receiving regular worming and flea’s treatments, this will be recorded on our system.
