Plans for our Village Fete are coming along nicely! We've got just over 30 stalls booked so far, so the church yard is pretty much full but there is still space in Dark Lane. If you've yet to book your stall, here's the link to the booking form: https://forms.office.com/r/Q000CC4FQF

And the Community Picnic in the afternoon is going to be brilliant!! We have the Fun Dog Show, kindly sponsored by Country Hounds Dog Deli with 10 categories you can enter. Don't forget the inaugural Overton Olympics too! Full details on what the games will be will be announced next week, but the organisations taking part so far are M. E. Evans, Ma Baker Bakes, Ferdi's Local - Overton, St. Mary's CiW School, Overton, Overton Playcentre CIO, and Overton Bowls Club. That makes 7... it'd be brilliant to get to 10 and make it a 'proper' decathlon! Any takers?

And if all that wasn't enough there will be a Hog Roast provided by Pen Y Lan Pork, coffee & bakes by Meet Me In The Morning, drinks from Premium Bar Hire and a candyfloss stand. Or you could bring your own picnic.

It's going to be a great day out so do come along and enjoy the fun!

We can’t wait for this event on Saturday 29th June. They’ll be a street market in the morning 10am-1pm with lots of amazing stallholders! 🤩

Then in the afternoon they’ll be a fun Dog Show, with category prizes donated by us at Country Hounds Dog Deli! 🐶 – and to keep you fed and watered there’ll be a bar provided by Premium Bar Hire, a hog roast from Pen Y Lan Pork and delicious cakes served from a horsebox from a new enterprise, Meet Me In The Morning.

Come and join us, we’d love to some familiar faces there! 🐶🐶🐶

Spring was in the air today…finally! ☀️🐶🌱

When I get home from dropping all the amazing dogs off that attend Country Hounds daycare I always make my dogs some sort of enrichment activity!

As I was feeling very summery today I decided to opt for a spring theme for their slow feeder lick mats!

What I included on their mats:

🐾 Country Hounds Signature Range Carrot, Turmeric and Ginger Snaps (crumbled up)
🐾 Country Hounds Fruit Salad Mix
🐾 Pure Flaxseed Oil
🐾 Egg Yolk
🐾 Natural Yogurt
All served in one of our slow feeders in Sage Green!

Dougo is our 2 year old tri blue merle border collie. 🐕

He loves…toys, running and of course FOOD!

Unfortunately Dougo has hip dysplasia but he doesn’t let that get in his way of loving life!

Dougo (along with Steven and Ellie) has a varied diet containing lots of superfoods to keep him in tip top condition and help his symptoms whilst keeping him on the trim side to not overload his joints with added stress.

Dougo attends physiotherapy and carries out daily conditioning exercises to ensure he is moving correctly and to build his muscles.

Therefore good quality treats are of particular importance for him. His favourite treats are our Carrot, 🥕 Turmeric and Ginger Snaps, they’re super nutritous. With the addition of turmeric, coconut oil and black pepper to assist in supporting his joints.
