Giant African Land Snails.

They make excellent pets and are fascinating to watch.

You don’t have to handle them but if you do you just need clean wet hands and they are happy to mooch about.

A large tank with a few inches of clean soil a clean water dish and fruit and veg.

They must also have calcium. Best way to provide this is in cuttlefish.

Babies will be available in the new year.

Indoor water garden anyone?

Small and tall and newly established. This set up is bout 5 months old.

It has a small water filter, pipe to form a water trickle down the bog wood. Planted above water with a Satin Pothos, Selaginella kraussiana and crystalwort mosses. There are more dormant water plants that we are waiting for spring for them to spring into life.
Lighted with Arcadia jungle dawn for plant growth. Slowly but surely we now have a growth spurt to reward the patience and it is looking good 😊.

There is alwys space even in the smallest of homes for a tiny garden.

No animals in this one.

But it may one day once fully established.
Suitable for small temperate fish too.

Isn’t she a stunner 🥰

Leopard gecko lady. Re gen tail so she is unique.

Lovely temperament and absolutly loves a routine. You can set your watch by this one. 4 pm she is out waiting for her dinner and cuddles.

So this makes her the perfect Children’s first reptile.

Always poops in the same place so super easy to clean.

She loves a head tickle and comes out to the call of a squeaky Vicky call (😂).

Eats medium locust and small meal worms with the occasional wax worm treat.

She loves her Tardis just as much as i do and is often found sat next to it.

Tempi has been in the shop 1 year now and i would love to find her own family for Christmas.

She is an Albino Temper and with this colouration she is not a huge fan of bright lights so her UVB is a soft 6% and only on for 2 hours at dawn and 2 hours at dusk.

She is a very special lady who has won the hearts of many children and adults here at Creature club on a Thursday so we are looking for her perfect home.

Her furniture is to be sold with her as she genuinly loves it. I will of course discount to asure this.

If not purchasing a vivarium from us a minimum of 3 ft will be needed. 4 ft preferred.

And they are stunning. Beautiful markings and super healthy and seriously active straight from the delivery box.

Good quick delivery makes all the difference at this time of year.

We are preparing a Home Education group session here at Wrexham Reptiles.

We are also preparing a Parent and Child session here at Wrexham Reptiles

Those interested please message me.

So far i have had lots of interest for Thursday afternoons for Home schoolers.
To make this a regular session i need imput from home scooling parents as to what you need 😊

Parent and child session, lots of interest but again need in put from those likely to want the experiences.

Do we put on regular weekly sessions or monthly?? You decide.

Let me know and we will accommodate.

We are continuously working on Education here with hands on experiences of exotic care. It is never too early to start and never to late to learn so pop me a message and lets see what we can do for the local community 😊.

Creature Club TONIGHT 4.30-6pm

This week is Snake feeding week.

At creature club learn all about our amazing Snakes.

Learn how to correctly pick them up to handle.

Learn how to tell what mood your pet snake is in.
We cover Snake behaviour in the wild and in captivity.

How to recognise problems or illness.
***When to ask for help.
***When to call a vet.
*** What to do if you are unsure.

We will cover correct for species perimeter’s for Heat, Lighting, space and enrichment. Chat about Vivariums and different substrates.

We will talk you through snake feeding and you will get a chance to witness this during our session.

All welcome from children to grandad. From beginner to expert. From hobbiest to scientist ALL are welcome at Creature Club.

***Our club is about Education and Experience and the more input from visitors the better the all round Education 😊***

We are all learning something new every day so pop along and get stuck in.

Risk assessments are completed before each club. Before each snake is selected. Non of our snakes are venomous or dangerous and all are extremely well handled and fit for the purpose of education and experience.

Baby Bearded Dragons.

The red is a little feisty today😂 living up to his dragon name i think!

Usually happy and content (🤦‍♀️) they certainly have character.

4x2x2 vivarium needed for adult size
Heat AND UVB no exceptions

Heat must be controlled by a thermostat.
UVB works better on a timer plug.

Proof of set up required for purchase of any of our exotics.

Deposit secures and we take payment plans for larger purchases.

👀 Giant African Millipedes👀

And they are HUGE 😍

Beautiful active species. They need a really deep substrate of earth not coir. With a good thick layer of leaf litter. Some rotting natural logs to climb and the eat. Oak works well.

NO PINE as this is Toxic to them.

Moist but not wet and keep the enclosure humid and warm.

Ok so a little bit of a squeamish one for you guys this evening. If its not for you scroll on by. Thank you.
Not for the faint hearted at all.

But this is natural and everything has to eat 🤷‍♀️.

Our Giant Centipede is growing fast. She needs high nutrition based feed.
In store we breed and gut load all our own dubia roaches so that when we feed them to the reptiles they are of the absolute highest quality. I nurture these bugs myself so can absolutely guarantee they are highly nutritious and tasty 😊Here our Giant is enjoying a dubia roach for lunch.

In Store we have some gorgeous juvenile Yemin Chameleon.

These guys have lots of growing to do and they are all looking for new branches to climb.

They do extremely well in Bio Active wooden arboreal vivariums. Provide plenty of ventilation. Heat spot and the very important UVB lighting.

They eat bugs. Lots of them. Gut loaded with yummy calcium. These chaps come running when the hoppers come out. Nice bright yellow bugs that they love to snack on. In the wild these guys will take some vegetation as a healthy snack so what ever you pop in the vivarium make sure it is non toxic!
