How cute are they?
puppy intros are a wash, dry, face, feet , bum tidy and nail trim. Although sometimes it’s not always possible to do everything due to them not being used to having scissors around their eyes etc.
We just need them to get used to the tools that we use, the sounds and the smells of the salon and this should be done very often to ease them in slowly.
It’s about giving them a positive experience so they are not afraid for future visits.
It’s also important for the owners to put the work in at home also.

Does your dog have a good sleep after being groomed?
I think most dogs do and this is completely normal due to the fact they have a lot of things done whilst they are with us.

Washed & conditioned with warm water.
They are dried and then they are fluff dried whilst using a brush.
Clipped, scissored and styled etc so it’s pretty physical added to the fact that their owners are leaving them.
If they come to me on a regular schedule then it’s better for them as they won’t take as long as opposed to a dog that is over grown and it’s alot kinder to them if I’m honest.
