Beautiful Dolly is an assist dog for Evie who is 14 and Dolly needs heart surgery.

⚠️ Don't give your dogs ice cubes in the heat to cool them down ⚠️

Their anterior hypothalamus is triggered o warm up the body because it recognises something icy cold has been absorbed, and subsequently the bodily temperature rises to compensate for this. In extreme heat a dogs' temperature needs to be reduced gradually.
Give dogs tepid water only. Water soaked towels rubbed into the dogs fur close to the skin wicks away heat from the body and keeps them cool, especially under forelegs (armpits) and pads.

Hi All, I just wanted to let you know about a couple of upcoming changes.

Firstly the landline number (0161 718 0183) will no longer be in use from March 9th, however the mobile number will remain unchanged.

Secondly, due to increases to the cost of utilities, equipment and fuel, we are having to increase prices from April 1st. These increases will be communicated in advance of any upcoming appointments and/or services.

I lost my Dad many years ago to cancer and now have a close family member who is living with it. Due to developments in treatment, people can live longer, healthier lives but this is only possible with with research which is funded by your very kind donations.
So I'm going to do this a little differently. Instead of walking 62 for the month of October, I'm aiming to walk 62 MILES a WEEK (248 FOR THE MONTH) with the aid of my extended k9 family.
Any donation, no mater the size can make a difference. Thank you for taking the time to read and I hope you may be able to help xXx

Due to the latest announcement, we have taken the difficult decision to suspended grooming services. This is to protect ourselves and other and help reduce non-essential travel.

FURTHER LOCKDOWN UPDATE.

After further discussion with the council I am able to continue grooming.
As we have already been doing, all pets are to be exchanged on the drive.
Please let us know before attending if anyone in your house hold has any covid systems.

LOCKDOWN UPDATE.

I have heard back from the council and can only operate the grooming if I pick up and drop off. UNFORTUNATELY at this time I am not able to do this.
I will be in touch with anyone booked in over the next month to discuss this.

I have a few face coverings still available in both adult and child sizes, they are double layer cotton with a pocket to add additional filter if required. £2.50 each and £1.50 from each sale will go to my daughter school as they have missed out on so much fundraisingthis year (Styal Primary).
