Introducing Bruce and Cookie, two absolutely incredible English Bulldogs!
These adorable pups may have a few minor issues, such as overexcitement and some destructive behaviors, but their biggest challenge lies in their unruly behavior when on a leash. This has made their caregivers dread their walks, to the point where they resorted to taking them out late at night or in the wee hours of the morning just to avoid any triggers.
But fear not, because we are embarking on an exciting training journey to tackle these challenges head-on! Our primary focus is to improve their leash manners and eliminate their pulling tendencies. To achieve this, we have made a few adjustments to their walking equipment, allowing for better communication and positive reinforcement. And let me tell you, this is just the beginning of their incredible journey!
Stay tuned, folks, because Bruce and Cookie are already making remarkable progress. We can't wait to share their journey with you and witness the incredible transformations they will undergo. Get ready to be amazed by these two adorable bulldogs as they conquer their obstacles and become the best versions of themselves!

We were thrilled to have Cleo back this week for another session!
Upon reviewing her progress since our last meeting, we were pleased to see that she has made some improvements on the lead, although there is still more work to be done.
During this session, we decided to tackle the challenge of helping Cleo remain calm when visitors arrive. We knew this would be a significant hurdle for her to overcome. To begin, we introduced her to a new, unfamiliar raised bed, using plenty of positive reinforcement to create a pleasant association. Once she became comfortable on the bed, we took things up a notch and started practicing her ability to stay on the bed when people arrived.
Initially, we used a house lead to gently redirect Cleo back to the bed if she happened to break away. However, as the session progressed, we were thrilled to witness her progress. By the end of our time together, we were able to remove the lead entirely, and Cleo was truly starting to understand that the key to greeting visitors was to remain calm and wait for an invitation.
We are incredibly excited about Cleo's progress and look forward to continuing our work with her. With each session, she is becoming more confident and better equipped to handle various challenges. Keep up the fantastic work, Cleo!

Dolly's 1st session highlights
Introducing Dolly, the absolutely adorable cockapoo!
This little furball is not only loving and friendly, but she's got a bit of a quirk. You see, Dolly has a tendency to pull on her harness, especially when she spots another dog or a human. She just can't contain her excitement and ends up standing on her hind legs!
But fear not, because we've embarked on a mission to tackle this issue head-on. We've started by strengthening Dolly's bond with her owners, taking it to a whole new level using the trusty clicker. And let me tell you, she caught on to the association in no time! This breakthrough has given us the perfect opportunity to work on a loose lead walking cue.
Up until now, we've been practicing in a controlled environment with minimal distractions. But get ready, folks, because in our next session, we're taking things to the next level! We're introducing real-world distractions to challenge Dolly's progress. So keep your eyes peeled for Dolly's upcoming update, because it's going to be pawsitively thrilling!

Introducing Tess, an energetic 11-year-old Staffie with a unique challenge. Whenever her owner's dad pays a visit, Tess becomes unable to calm down. It got to the point where they had no choice but to isolate her in another room. This separation caused Tess to cry, whine, and become stressed. Desperate for a solution, they reached out to me for help.
Together, we delved deep into the origins of this behavior and its progression. As it turns out, Tess has developed an intense attachment to this particular human. Our journey involved training both Tess and her dad, as his interactions played a significant role in her excitement.
To start, we focused on reducing Tess's overall excitement level. We introduced a fantastic enrichment tool, the trusty DIY snuffle towel. This simple yet effective tool naturally calmed her down, allowing her to learn that being calmer was the key to receiving attention. Leveraging her existing obedience skills, we introduced the cue of sitting before she received the desired attention. Although she had stopped jumping, Tess still couldn't help but whine. So, we began rewarding those brief moments of calm and quiet. Remarkably, Tess, being the intelligent girl she is, quickly grasped the concept.
By the end of our session, Tess had made tremendous progress. However, she still requires plenty of practice. The exciting part is that this means more visits from her favorite human, who will continue to reinforce the positive changes she's made. With dedication and persistence, Tess is well on her way to overcoming this challenge and enjoying a more peaceful and harmonious relationship with her dad.
So, let's cheer for Tess and her remarkable journey towards a calmer and happier life!

Meet Alfie, an incredibly enthusiastic German Shepherd! His owners reached out to me because he had a serious issue with pulling on the leash and an intense prey drive, causing him to chase after anything that moved, especially cars. This made it quite challenging for them to take him on walks safely.
But fear not, we embarked on a journey back to basics, focusing on getting Alfie engaged with his owners. We also took a closer look at the equipment he was using for walks and made some necessary changes. Our primary goal was to teach him how to walk on a loose lead, and boy, did we make progress!
Now, let me tell you about Alfie's incredible food drive. This pup would do just about anything for a tasty treat. However, there was one thing that he adored even more than food β a ball on a rope. We cleverly utilized this beloved toy to capture his attention amidst distractions. And guess what? It worked like a charm!
Alfie's owners quickly realized that they needed to step up their game and become more animated and exciting for him to return to them. As you can witness in the video, Alfie has made remarkable progress in such a short period of time. It's truly awe-inspiring!
I couldn't be more thrilled with Alfie's transformation. His pulling obsession and uncontrollable urge to chase moving objects are becoming a thing of the past. With dedication, patience, and a whole lot of excitement, we've managed to turn Alfie into a well-behaved and happy pup.
So, if you're facing similar challenges with your furry friend, don't lose hope! Together, we can conquer any obstacle and witness incredible results. Let's embark on this exciting journey of training and transformation!
Introducing Ghost, the adorable 7-month-old German Shepherd who had been absolutely terrified of the lead! This poor pup had been refusing to leave the comfort of his home for walks, opting instead to hide under tables. But fear not, because we were determined to help him overcome this hurdle!
We knew that serious desensitization was the key to solving Ghost's lead phobia. So, we embarked on a journey of patience and understanding. Step by step, we introduced a brand new lead, rewarding any interaction with it, even if it was just a quick sniff. Once Ghost became comfortable around the lead, we took the next big leap and clipped it on, gradually getting him used to it within the safety of his home and garden.
But our ultimate goal was to boost Ghost's confidence and get him outside. To achieve this, we limited his options to only the front door as an exit. And when the brave little guy finally made the decision to venture out, oh boy, did we shower him with massive rewards and praise! It was a celebration of bravery and progress.
Of course, Ghost still had some reservations about exploring beyond the front garden. That's when we enlisted the help of the wonderful Misty, a seasoned explorer of the outside world. With a few short walks alongside Misty, Ghost started to discover the joy of going out and about. And as you'll witness in the heartwarming video, he's now walking like a champ for his proud owner!
We couldn't be more thrilled with Ghost's incredible transformation. From a fearful pup who wouldn't budge, to a confident and happy explorer, he has truly come a long way. Ghost's story is a testament to the power of patience, love, and the unwavering determination to help our furry friends overcome their fears.
