"We have been using Black Country saddles for many years now and wouldn’t use anything else! The customer service has been excellent and nothing is ever too much trouble.

Before moving to Black Country, we had a bespoke made to measure saddle for our Welsh cob worker. It was fitted by the company too and adjusted a few times, but our stallion actually started to stop and wouldn’t jump. This is when we changed to Black Country! The difference in him was instant and since then he’s won most major WHP Championships, including HOYs twice, Champion at Royal Windsor and too many more to mention. The whole yard are now fitted, several in classics and the worker shape. Ross and I both feel extremely secure in the saddles, the leather is very comfortable and non slippy, great shoulder clearance for the bulky Welsh cobs and they also look so smart. We have a couple which are very expressive/powerful over fences, but we find the BC worker saddles perfect to keep us secure and safe with enough room for us to move over the fences."

A post just for you Gabby Davies-Herd STARS Champion of Champions Supreme Ridden Champion!!

Senior Equitation Class winner out of 50 and then champion on Friday.
Then onto be Supreme Ridden Champion last night.

I’m one of the people that seen the hard work and graft that Gabby put into herself and Custard. But what people don’t realise Gabby had a terrible accident last year and really knocked her confidence badly to a point she was prepared to give it all up. On top of that about 6 weeks ago things were going terribly wrong with custard’s saddle. Gabby bought him a custom made saddle and only had three weeks to bed in and get used to her new saddle and gain custards confidence again before the show.
I am so proud of you Gabby, you really deserve this and you keep on ticking off your bucket list as you’re already smashing your goals.
Ps she did all of this with very bad tonsillitis, get yourself better see you in the new year.xx
