It’s very snowy out there today ! Looks lovely - but not that practical ! ⛄️ The barn and field are located on untreated roads - I have already rescheduled a couple of those booked , but if you would like to change a booking to another day please let me know as soon as possible. Either way- stay safe and enjoy!! 🐾⛄️😊

What a wonderful job done 👏🐾 just wanted to share , not just for the obvious (amazing Police dog doing a fantastic job- we love you PD Dutch 🥰🐾👏) but also furthering awareness of the Herbert Protocol .

At around 9.40pm on Sunday (December 28), officers were dispatched to Weardale after concerns were raised for the whereabouts of a woman in her 80s.

After speaking to her family, it was soon discovered that the woman, who was struggling with early stages of dementia, had left her home to go for a walk.

The team started searching through fields alongside officers and family members who assisting the search.

PC Laura Linskey and her trusty and recently qualified K9, PD Dutch joined the search team and arrived on scene just after 10pm.

PD Dutch lead PC Linskey to a field to the rear of a walled garden, he then pulled PC Linskey over to a small, wooded area and tracked up to the missing lady who was stood hiding behind a tree, lost and confused.

The woman was fit and well but explained to officers that she was frightened when she thought she was lost.

Officers comforted the woman and took her home to her husband who thanked officers for their assistance.

The woman has since been referred to the Herbert Protocol which is a process whereby you submit information regarding a vulnerable person, allowing officers to start their search immediately and save vital time.

Received this email from a client today “Just to say thank you “ and it made our day ….’just wanted to email to say thank you! We’ve just had an hour in the barn this morning with Reid and he was so happy to be back playing around especially in the ball pool pit!😂 We absolutely love the spaces you have created for dogs to have a run around.
Reid can be a bit of an anxious boy on walks when he sees other dogs so this gives us the opportunity to let him run around freely and it definitely tires him out😂
I hope you had a lovely Christmas and we look forward to booking in more appointments with Reid’ ☺️

In our parkour sessions you will learn how to use agility to boost your bond with your dog, increase interaction during walks and start taking your walks to the next level!

This will be a 50 minute session held at k9_funtime where we will use the amazing agility facilities.

Final field check done for 2024 … what a fantastic year it’s been - huge thank you to all our customers , team and supporters. We’ve raised money and donated to Maxi's Mates Rescue & Rehoming Centre The Lost Dog Trapping Team Search And Rescue Network CIC Hope Animal Shelter Loftus Teesside Mind and many more local charities , and we will continue to do that in 2025. We have lots of exciting announcements coming for the New Year so watch this space !

Total Recall! (FULL)

If you have any concerns about letting your dog off the lead due to them ignoring you or being easily distracted then this class is for you!

In this one off session I will go over how to teach recall from start to finish. It’s one of the most anxious moments for majority of dog owners so make sure you get it right!

There’ll be 2 trainers on hand and all you need is a range of treats/reward and a longline (NOT a flexi/extension lead).
