When you get a message from a very happy customer;
Nicola and Teddy had issues with heightened reactivity to other dogs when walking. This made their walks very stressful and not as enjoyable as they should be.
Teddy has responded fantastically to distraction training with high value treats and now associates what used to be a stressful situation with being praised and rewarded. This has enabled Teddys’ lovely family to go away in their motor home and enjoy a holiday together 🥰🥰🥰 Great work Teddy and family 🐾🐾

Abandoned Puppy 😞

It’s been a really tough week for rescue and the dogs coming into our care and now this!

This little Vizsla boy is around 10 to 12 weeks old but so tiny and was thrown out of a car!!
He is so skinny and has lots of scars on his face.

Fosters are full and finances are always stretched with so many dogs needing our help

We rely on donations so we can continue to rescue and help abandoned dogs.

Hi everyone 👋 With the evenings getting lighter and (fingers crossed 🤞) the weather improves. Would anyone be interested in a group walk with their dogs? This is a great way to socialise your dog with others and I can try and help with any greeting issues. I wouldn’t have any more than 6 people at a time and depending on interest I can run either 1 or 2 sessions a week. Everyone meet our Jenson(Boy). Jenson is a Vizslador, Mam was a Vizsla, Dad was a brown Labrador. He has the characteristics of both breeds, sticking to humans like glue hence the Vizslas called velcro dogs and as hungry as brown lab. Jenson now 3, has been through the baby separation anxiety stage and adolescence naughty stage and has turned out perfect. Unfortunately Jenson has hip dysplasia and has had two major operations so can’t be walked far. Jenson has been used to socialise other pups and other dogs to pass on his wealth of knowledge. 🐾 🐾

Bentley is progressing well walking to heel with a loose lead. Steph is ustililising a reward~based technique, giving the dog lots of praise when he is doing well strengthening the bond between them.
