Kirklevington Riding Centre is a family-run, BHS-approved centre established in 1981. With vast experience, highly-trained instructors and a fantastic herd of horses, we are well equipped to offer riding lessons at every level of ability from the total beginner to the exam candidate wanting an equine career. Whatever stage of riding you are at, we offer an environment that is fun, friendly, suppor
tive and progressive. We also proudly cater for those that are differently-abled, have special requirements or learning difficulties. Livery services of varying levels are available, with a wide range of facilities and extensive off-road riding, offering a team of friendly and professional staff dedicated to providing you and your horse with an enjoyable experience, supported by in depth knowledge and experienced horsemanship. As an established competition venue, we regularly host both affiliated and unaffiliated events across varying disciplines. We specialise in the training and instruction of Working Hunter competitors, with bespoke jumps created on site by Kirkwood Showjumps and BSPS championship-standard courses available for instruction year round. We are also a BHS training and examination centre, running challenge awards, Stages 1-3 in horse care and riding plus riding and road safety training courses and exams throughout the year whilst also playing host to a number of specialised training clinics. Our team of experienced instructors and dedicated yard staff will be delighted to help with any enquiries you may have; please contact us by email or telephone. The support and warm reception from our riders, clients and local community at our new onsite brasserie and coffee house The Tack Room Kirklevington has been phenomenal, thank you. We've been so grateful for the incredible support and reception since we opened just 5 weeks ago, thank you to each and every one of you.
The brasserie underwent an unexpected change of ownership just a few days after we opened - we want to reassure you that the incredible team that have been welcoming you each day remain in place and are here to stay.
We have some very exciting plans to come for our brasserie and coffee house, and would love you to follow along with us on this new page.

Hay there!
The Tack Room will be open tomorrow from 9am serving breakfast, brunch and lunch as normal.
As we’re hosting a charity show for BSPS Area 1A the chefs will also be running a BBQ which is open to all.
Don’t forget, we also have a wide range of wines available and Hawkstone lager and cider on tap.
We’re looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

We’ve had another fabulous ‘ladies day’ today. Flatwork, position work, polework and yoga balls…what more could you ask for??
We used yoga balls to assess balance and engage the core. Although, some of us may have taken the exercises a little more seriously than others…

Huge congratulations are in order for our most recent cohort of Stage 2 candidates…all candidates passed with excellent feedback from their assessor.
We will shortly be announcing dates for our next ‘Stage 2 Teach’ course and would urge you to express your interest via Facebook messenger as this course always fills quickly.
We currently have daytime (and some evening) availability for Stage 3 and Stage 4 ride training with our chief instructor, Jen Brooks.

First BE Novice for Sophie and Bambi and they came 4th !!!! One of only 2 combinations in the section to go double clear inside the time - superstars 🌟🌟

What a fabulous end to the season for Sophie and Bambi!! After a super dressage score and a double clear they were 2nd in the BE90 at Oasby!! Those of you who have met Bambi at our Wellness Wednesday sessions already know what a superstar she is, for those of you who haven’t met her why don’t you come along this Wednesday…she certainly deserves some extra treats this week 🌟🌟
