Hi my name is Cath and I am the proud owner of Comfy Canines, a fully licensed and insured Dog Walker, Doggy Daycare Provider and a Home Boarder. I understand how important it is to have the comfort in knowing that your dog is being looked after whilst you holiday/are out of town or at work. My dogs are my life and I'
d struggle too leaving them with someone I didn't trust and someone my dogs didn't trust. I decided to open up my home to people in need and offer a dog sitting service as a hobby many years ago, however launched this business in full a couple of years ago. Since then have been lucky enough to meet hundreds of Comfy Canines, all of which I treat as my own and all of which hold a huge place in my heart. I am a passionate dog lover and have 2 dogs of my own Lola who is a 10 year old westy and Jasper who is a 1 year old Cocker. Both dogs are well trained, super social and welcome all our visitors with open arms. My home offers a huge open plan area for the dogs to utilise, along with a large garden. I have additional rooms for dogs that may need some quiet time, however all of my visitors get on really well and love coming to play. Our dogs sleep in seperate crates overnight however are left together should i need to leave during the day. I do not take on anymore than an additional 2 dogs at a time, this is because it can often be overwhelming for the new dogs and because its a home from home service. My aim is to give your dog the best experience here with me and my family. An initial meet and greet wil be required, there will be health check form to complete and I will be able to answer any questions you may have. My page is full of content and activity so please keep an eye out for pics of your Comfy Canines. We are 4 star licensed with SBC and insured. All customers are bound to the terms of our business and a copy of these can be sent on request. Meet and Greets will be carried out prior to any work with your dog and all information given to us is received on the understanding that it is factual and accurate. Working weather update π
Morning everyone.
Whilst it does feel much cooler this morning, it is still showing 21 degrees.
The dogs are much more comfortable today but walks will be shortened.
As always I choose my routes carefully, incorporating water and shaded grounds, i carry water and the van is equipped with cool mats, cold water and towels.

Hi all, with the exception of tomorrow (we are expecting showers, although the temperatures are still extremely high) we are expecting a ridiculously hot week.
As always whilst I take every precaution to ensure you're dogs are safe, comfortable and enjoy their walk, I do also encourage tou to keep them at home if you're home with them anyway.
The first morning walks are actually OK as the temps are still nice and comfortable however if u think your dog will be more comfortable at home then feel free to cancel at no charge

Introducing Babby Jessie to our pack π
Jessie had her 1st little outing with us today and omg π₯°π₯°π₯° what a little ball of confidence she is.
She LOVED it!! We of course kept her walk limited as she is growing and introduced her to the loveliest of dogs for her 1st group walk.
Jessie will learn so much from the other dogs and she was an eager learner today π
Her big sister Nellie was never too far away but need not worry with our group, they welcomed her with open paws and we cant wait to watch you grow both in size and in confidence baby girl.

Over the course of the next couple weeks I will be leaving 2 sets of forms in your homes. 1 being a service agreement and the other being a form used to collate information and permissions for your dogs.
Please ensure they are completed and left for us to collect. I know you will have completed them before but we are starting a fresh and these documents will then be signed annually. This doesn't apply to any new customers we've welcomed in 2024.
Please also remember it is your responsibility to ensure you are informing me of any changes to yours dogs health and behaviour.
Please also remember your dogs are to be annually vaccinated and treat monthly for fleas/ticks/worms...tick season is also upon us so please ensure you are regularly grooming your dogs and keeping an extra eye our for any nasties.

I've had 2 boarding cancellations this morning which now means that I have the above dates free for boarding.
Very very rare this happens however it means I am able to offer those dates to any existing clients?
I am willing to consider new clients however the dog has to be the right fit for my home (small/medium, sleeps downstairs, can be walked off lead)

Payments are due either Sundays for the week ahead or Sunday at the latest for the week just gone.
It's really unfair that I'm spending so much time chasing payments.
Cancellation Reminders...
Cancellations within 24hours are still to be paid unless there is a fair reason for cancellation.
I've been so so fair with this over the years and have missed out on hundreds of pounds.
Moving forward if you cancel on the day of the scheduled walk. I will expect full payment unless there is a genuine reason

Kennel Cough Some advice from me based off my experience. Please note, this is just friendly advice, I am not a vet. I do ask that if your dog shows symptoms, that you let me know ASAP.
