Free Blood Pressure Screening 👩‍⚕️

Did you know that it is recommended that all cats over the age of 9 should have Blood Pressure screening once to twice a year? 🤯

This is why we offer FREE blood pressure screening to any cats who are over the age of 9 with one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses🥳

Cats with high blood pressure (also known as Hypertension) appear healthy until major problems occur.
Prolonged untreated high blood pressure can cause organ damage to:
- Eyes 👀
- Heart ❤️
- Brain 🧠
- Kidneys 🫘

However, high blood pressure is easily treated with medication once diagnosed! 💊

If you would like to get an appointment booked in, please call us on 01454 312312!📱
If you already have an appointment booked, but would like your cat to have a blood pressure check at the same time, please just give us a call so we can get this added to your appointment! 🩺

Here is our vet Liz's cat Ron being a superstar at having his blood pressure taken - we promise he does usually look this grumpy!

🎁 FESTIVE GIVEAWAY 🎁

As we move into the festive month of December, we have decided to do another giveaway!

The giveaway includes items to try and help destress cat's during this time. This is because the festive season can be quite stressful for cats, especially with decorations, lots of changes and more people visiting the home 🏠

For the chance of winning:

3️⃣tag 3 cat lovers
The winner will be announced Wednesday 11th December around midday.

In the meantime, here's a few tips to try and make Christmas a little bit less stressful for your fur baby:

🎄 Provide your cat with several safe places to hide. This could be a simple as a cardboard box under the bed!
🎄Use a Feliway diffuser throughout the festive months
🎄Advise visitors to not approach the cat, and to only stroke on the cat's terms.
🎄Ask your guests to give your cat(s) treats, and play with toys to give a positive association with any new people entering the house
🎄If a guest is staying in a room, where your cat eats, drinks and uses a litter tray, make sure they're plenty of other bowls and litter trays in quieter places of the house (remember one litter tray per cat plus one is recommended)!
