Morning walkies with Buster #devonlife #woodlandwalk
In an educational visit today, our Shetland ponies enjoyed a grooming session and a walk through our private woodland where our guests learnt about where our food comes from, the by-products from animals, and crops growing on the farm. Here’s a video of Dinky enjoying a munch on the grass, and Doodle having a roll about after our woodland quiz! #devonlife #shetlandponies #shetlandpony #farmeducation #outdooreducation #berealston #devon

Harlings Farm Shop, Café and Restaurant update (20 March 2025)
Farm Shop, Café and Restaurant update: It’s been a while since our last update, but we’ve been busy bees! Jerry (with a special guest, Buster!) has got all the details in this update video.
So here’s the latest: the cold stores are all set up, the kitchen equipment is in place, the base floor is down, and the bar area is coming together. We’ve also had advice on electrical aspects and fire safety, and we’ve opened into the next containers to start working on the Farm Shop.
We’re anticipating opening this Spring, and we’re so grateful for all the support we have for this project, and the interest we have from all of our followers on here, and the local community. We’re so excited about opening and sharing it with you all.

Harlings Potential Supplier Day highlights - 1 March 2025
What a fantastic way to start a busy March! Yesterday, we hosted our Potential Supplier Day, meeting an incredible range of producers for the farm shop, café, and restaurant. It was a pleasure to connect with both new and familiar faces, discovering amazing local products that could soon be on our shelves and menus. Even the sun decided to join us! ☀️ A huge thank you to everyone who came along to share their passion and produce! 🎨🥖📚🥧🖼️
Farm shop, café and restaurant update… flooring is going down, the final windows and doors are set to be fitted next week, and the bar area is coming together beautifully. This Saturday 1st March, we’re hosting an invite-only supplier day, where we’ll be meeting some incredible local producers and artists. If you’ve received an invite, we’re looking forward to seeing you there! A huge shoutout to Will and Jerry, who have worked absolute magic to get the building ready (and are still going strong!). From braving freezing rain and storms to getting the roof on, their dedication has been incredible—thank you both!
