REUNITED WITH OWNER

Dog found loose on the main road from Bishopthorpe towards York, alongside the racecourse. The dog has been taken to Tower Vets Tower Vets Fulford Road and please share and help this dog get back to  it’s family

Sharing with thanks to No Longer In the Dog House

I’ll be getting my own dogs out for a walk before it gets dark tonight, the radio will be on in the kitchen and we’ll all be snuggling in the front room.

Hope all your animals are okay over the coming days, some great tips and advice in this post 🐾

As discussed at this months NLDH Connect great to pop this radio station on tonight for your dogs even if your dog isn’t scared of Fireworks.

It can only take one scary event such as going to the safe toilet (your garden) and then suddenly BANG 🎇

Remember this weekend to:

🐾Walk before dark - although fireworks have been going off at my home from 2pm.
🐾Enrichment - snufflemats, lickmats, chews, Kongs
🐾Provide a safe space or den - this can be on the sofa with u, on your bed, behind the sofa, under the table - where ever your dog likes to be.
🐾 Pop your favourite programme or film on so u are relaxed and your energy will be positive to your dog.
🐾 Have a glass of 🍷or a cup of hot chocolate to relax also.
🐾 Remember to keep your cat inside and move rabbits inside.
🐾 Curtains shut and radio on loud.

If you need extra help ask your vet for calming medication today also.

Other suggestions is to go and visit friends/family if they live in a quieter area.
