On Saturday 21st December from 12:30-14:00 we have slots available for your four legged friends to come and meet the big fella 🎅🐶

🐶 - Spaces are limited, please go to https://abcwildlifepark.co.uk/ to book your spot!

🐶 - each slot can have x3 dogs, if you have more to meet Santa please book the next slot as well

🐶 - it’s £5 per dog for meeting Santa.

On the 21st December, come and check in at the Wildlife Park Reception and we will direct you to Santas Cabin 😁🐶🐾

Need a helping hand with your dog? We’ve got Dog School classes launching in a few weeks at Askham Bryan College and we have a few dog-shaped spaces to fill! 🐶
In four fun weeks you’ll learn to train your dog to come back when called, enjoy walkies without them pulling you over, say hi to people without leaving muddy paw prints and so much more!

We just wanted to pop on and say a HUGE thank you to all the people and lovely dogs we met last Sunday for Alfies Dog Day Out and Fun Dog Show. We had a brilliant day and we hope you did too! Please share your pictures, we would love to see them 📷

We managed to raise a fabulous £525.34 for PAWPERS IN THE RUFF and we got to showcase some of the special dogs looking for homes ❤

We are now offering courses in pet dog grooming starting on Friday the 10th of January 2025.

Learn the basics of grooming your dog, in this practical afternoon course.

Course Code
COMMDOGAFT
Course Description
This course is aimed at dog owners who wish to learn the basics of dog grooming. This is a non-accredited course and upon completion you will receive an Askham Bryan College Internal certification.

During your time on the course you will learn the following skills;

Bathing/drying and brushing techniques including; Nail clipping, ear cleaning and de-matting.
Clipping starting points including; shaving paw pads and hygiene trim
Scissor techniques including; legs/feet, face trim and blending areas and techniques
Full groom experience start to finish.

There are no formal qualifications required for this course but experience with dogs is favourable.

Course Duration:

Our introduction to dog grooming course will be 6 weeks long. Delivered every Friday afternoon from 13:15pm-16:15pm.

We offer a special deal for those who would like to pair up on a course and just have 1 dog between two - the total price for a pair is £295.00 - if you would like to sign up as a pair with 1 dog, please drop the [email protected] an email.

Dogs must be vaccinated, and you must bring your own dog with you.

Askham Bryan College will not provide the dogs.
