Never bored of diversity…these guys will spend 15 days in one incubator and will be separated just before hatching to track celadon, F1s and normal coturnix. I guess the Chinese chicks will be easy to recognise

Growing bigger and just starting changing the chick fluff for real the feathers (so called fledging)

Pre-covid time and our first hutch. The bottom part was secured by a strong mesh and we put a big plastic tray on it. Despite of living in town we have often fox visiting our garden in the night and putting this hutch on the grass wasn’t an option 🙁 wish we will build a nice big aviary soon

Little chicks are extremely curious and they explore every available corner…sometimes they go too far from the heat and get cold so can’t return so keep that in mind when designing their first home 😘
