Has anyone lost a light coloured Tabby Cat near the Barmby Road fields? We found one in the gateway this morning. It looked to have been hit by a car & sadly passed away😪 We took it to Wicstun Vets but it didn't have an identity chip. It's definitely a domesticated cat and looked very well cared for and fed 😪 Please contact Wicstun if you think it might be yours ❤️

So the first picture is the hole I filled back up with soil at 9.30 on Weds morning. The second is from Thursday morning at 11.30. This hole and others have been dug out by a dog within 24 hours ! This is NOT acceptable. I will be monitoring the fields each day at different times and you will be charged if found to have caused the damage.

Please, please, please do not let you dog dig holes in the grass. I have spent significant time replacing the soil this week and I will be closely monitoring these over the next few weeks. Anyone who is found to let their dog dig excesively will be charged for the damage. Thankyou. Kerry 😊

PLEASE, please do NOT let your dog shred balls or dig huge holes in the field 😪

It takes so much time picking up tiny pieces of ball or gathering enough soil to fill each hole. Both create hazards for dogs.
Field 2 has been terrible with damage amd left poo over the Weekend / Monday. Emails will be sent out to all Field 2 users as this cannot go on. It's not fair on all the responsible dogs and owners that we have here😪🐕

We are a local farming family who have had rescue dogs all our lives. We know the local area well and have come to realise that many people from Pocklington and surrounding villages have struggled to find a safe secure place for their dog to run free.

We have farmed this piece of land for many years and realised that it would be the perfect place for local people to bring their dogs for freedom in a secure environment. Thus we created Barmby Fields - Secure Dog Walking Fields We hope that your and your furry friends will make some happy memories here with us !
