It's hard to believe that another year has passed so quickly but again I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the lovely customers of Banda Dog Grooming for another fantastic year and keeping us so busy!

Thank you for your gifts, tips and well wishes as well as your continued support throughout the year, it really is appreciated.

⭐️ It was lovely to see Jim (working Border Collie) for his de shed appointment this week
which he certainly enjoyed ⭐️
Many dogs shed their coat all year but you will notice more shedding in spring but also in fall in preparation for winter.

⭐️ Japanese Spitz ⭐️

Parker, the first Japanese Spitz we have had in the salon who visited back in May. He was super throughout and will be pleased of his grooming appointment prior to the hotter weather we have experienced 🐾

🐾 De-Shedding Appointments🐾

The process removes the layer of dead hairs found present in the undercoat, if these are allowed to build up the hair can impact on your dogs ability to regulate their body temperature.
It helps rehydrate your dogs skin, encourages good circulation and hair renewal too.

French Bulldog Nina visited today for her first de-shed appointment and what alot of hair was removed for her. Her owners had noticed increasing amounts of hair being shed around the house, they will certainly see a difference following her appointment.

Hi, apologies for not posting for a while, it has been extremely busy! Here are a few pictures of such a variety of dogs we have the pleasure of grooming.

Amongst some new faces we have seen, it has been lovely to welcome Border Collie - Dougie, Standard Poodle puppy - Sadie and 14 month old Eurasier - Luca.

I do have a cancellation list should an appointment come available if you would like adding to this, but if you have not already booked in for a scheduled groom please get in touch to try and ensure availability (the diary is open for the remainder of 2022).

I should have contacted all enquiries with dates available but if I have not yet got back to you please drop me a message. Unfortunately I cannot hold appointments offered if I haven’t received confirmation of the booking and I don’t have time to follow up appointments offered so please ensure you respond.

Hi

I am delighted to let you all know that Banda Dog Grooming has been listed in the top three pet grooming salons in York by Three Best Rated!

The doors to the salon were opened two years ago and time has flown by. I have met truly wonderful people and of course the clients themselves who I now know so well 🐶

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for your custom and continued support, it really means so much and I couldn’t have hoped for anything better for my little business since opening.

The Banda Dog Grooming team is expanding which means that I will be able to accept limited new clients very soon!

It has been a while since I last posted and hope that this finds you all well.

With the wet and miserable weather imminent, what better time to let you know that Banda Dog Grooming is a proud stockist of Ruff and Tumble - The Ultimate Dog Drying Coat, offering a range of sizes, colours and Dog Drying Mitts.

These are fantastic dog drying coats and mitts which I tried and tested myself on Pops, prior to becoming a stockist. Thankfully the days of a cold wet dog, mud splattered walls and piles of old towels are behind us!

They are available for you to view and your dog to try for size when visiting for their grooming appointment, so please ask when at the salon or message me if you would like any further information.

Some of the features include:
Two layers of natural cotton towelling, which form a membrane to draw moisture from the dog's coat as quickly as possible.
Long adjustable hood for drying soggy ears.
Super wide adjustable belly flap, covers the underside of the dog and dries the problem areas.
Non-restrictive design.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted any pictures on my page, as you can imagine it has been a busy time grooming all your lovely dogs.
Bruce had a bath and his first teeth cleaning session in between his regular groom and Finley came for a bath and de shed 🐶
