The Pet Palace York dog walking, feeding visits, daycare and home from home boarding for your furbabys. 5 Star rating from the council licence number CYC070817 Hi.

I am based in Rawcliffe, licensed by YCY [CYC070817] for daycare and home boarding. DBS checked, insured and hold a pet first aid and cpr certificate. I also offer walking and small animal visits
I have taken various courses such as Behaviour and training, Pet Care, Aggression and rehabilitation and separation anxiety. We have a secure garden with CCTV in operation. Dogs will have a pitpat tracke

r on when we are out walking. Daycare is from £22 for upto 8 hours an additional cost occurs after that. Daycare times are 07.30am-18.00pm. Times of arrival and collection must be known at least a week in advance. No intact males or girls due or in season. No bite history or known aggression. Must be upto date with vaccinations and wormer and flea treatment. Boarding: It is home from home so they will only be crated if they are in their own dwellings, other than that they sleep here where they would at home, i.e kitchen, our bed. Drop off time is from 17.00pm if an earlier drop off is required this needs to be arranged at booking and a daycare rate will be added as a space will be taken by your dog. If not arranged i will assume it is a normal drop off time ,so will therefore take another booking and then you will run the risk of not being able to come earlier. Collection is before 10am on the last day, again if a later pick up is required this needs to be arranged at booking so you can take a daycare space for that day, at a daycare rate. I need to be strict with times to be able to stay in my limit and not have too many dogs at once to adhere to my License requirements. No intact males, due or in season girls. Must be upto date with vaccines and wormer and flea treatment. An initial meet and greet will take place and a trial night is required for stays over 3 nights
Confirmation needs to be given to me within 72 hours and a non refundable deposit paid to secure the date. If neither of these are done then the dates will open up to others. Contact for prices. Please feel free to drop me a message for more info. Many Thanks

Back with a bang this week.
We've had crazy puppies, chilled seniors, strops and drama queens, runny bums, sicky chops, bleeding dew claws, peeing on heads ( not me) sleeping on the sofa, I got a boot to the gut and got winded...twice, little angels & little terrorists. Just an average week in a job people think is easy and would love to do 🤣
We have a birthday boy today so birthday Woofins ready for them 😊 and he's with his favourite gal ever, he was waiting not so patiently for her to arrive this morning 🤣

Hi all. I'm back! What an amazing trip too, Paul loved his birthday surprises in New York. Racked up 91 miles of walking, ( our record for NY) all your dogs over these years have definitely put us in training for that 🤣 we had birthday breakfast at The Plaza Hotel, ( didnt see Kevin) champagne in Tiffany's, ice hockey game at Madison Square Gardens, watched MJ the musical, did a mafia tour with our Guide who actually grew up and still has 'connections' with the Gambino family, oh we packed in allsorts 🤣
Jetlagged and feet are officially dead lol.
Never been so cold in my life lol getting a lovely -16 day was a treat, warmed up the next day to -11 🤣 most days i had 3 leg layers and 4 top layers ( and was still freezing)
So back to it tomorrow, I've missed my crew so much. Still a few outstanding January invoices to receive, so as my purse is as broken as my feet 🤣🤣 if these could be settled that would be great 👍
Knee deep in washing so off to crack on with that, and try to stay awake lol.

Morning lovelies.
So I'm on countdown for New York after 18 months of planning the surprise it's nearly here 😀 I finish work at 1pm on Saturday to get everything sorted before we head back to our favourite city. I return to work on the 7th Feb.
All invoice messages will be sent out before Saturday so I can tick it off my list.
Any enquiries whilst I'm on leave will be answered upon my return, anyone waiting for a reply will be answered before I go ( although I think I'm upto date with them)

Just a reminder im on leave from the afternoon of the 25th Jan and back to work 7th Feb. Paul has a big birthday in this time so I'm whisking him off for a fun packed surprise trip.
Received my new I.D tags this week, all dogs, daycare or boarding will have these on whilst out walking ( they always had my ID tags on but wanted some fancy ones lol) not as vibrant as i thought by they will do the job, all my details are on the reverse side 🐾

LONG BUT IMPORTANT POST. PLEASE TAKE A READ.
I know i appear to get on my high horse about this, but I'm not sorry! If it gives just one owner information they didn't know then it's worth it.
ANYONE boarding your dog or has them for daycare in exchange for payment MUST hold a licence from the council. It is a legal requirement.
Would you leave your child at a nursery without registered child minders?
It angers me more than you would know, that people are willing to play Russian Roulette with your dogs, because that's what it is, no procedures in place for any type of emergency, no home inspection to make sure its safe, no agreements with a veterinary surgery.
No licence not only invalidates the boarders insurance ( if they are bothered to get any) it also invalidates any insurance you have. So your boarder leaves the door open and your dog escapes...your dog then has an accident and needs vet care running into thousands whilst you are away! Who pays? No party involved is insured!
This year I've paid nearly £650 for my licence renewal and my insurance, and I'd pay double that to know your dogs are safe and I'm prepared for any situation.
You care enough about your dogs to want them in a loving home environment whilst you are away, so please check the person you are thinking about trusting with a loved family member with isn't running a business illegally.
Please note this is not a lecture, I'm not trying to make people feel bad, I'm trying to keep dogs safe with information some do not know.

Every year at Christmas since we lost Copper i buy useful things for animal rescue centres, this is money I would of spent on presents for her. It's been towels, duvets, blankets ect.
This year I'm buying food for The lost dog trapping team (Team Arlo York)
The job these volunteers do is just amazing, and nothing is funded so they need our help. They are there if we need them so let's return the festive favour.
They are in need of food, the list is on the pic. If any of my clients would like to donate whilst dropping off or collecting the crew then I'll be happy to take it all together. A tin of hotdogs, stinky sardines, oxo cubes, it all helps to keep them stocked up to search for the next dog. 🙂
