Hello riders. There will be a Christmas endurance ride taking place on the Rideways on Sunday 1 December starting from approx 9.30am until approx 3pm. The group will be parking at Mount Pleasant Farm with between 40-70 riders expected in attendance. The Rideways will remain open as usual.

Good morning Riders. Please be aware we have some pond restoration work starting today (Thursday) on the Rideways close to water jump 31 in Common Wood, which will continue into next week. The work will not be extended to the actual water jump but there will be a digger working close by and there will be some tree removal. Thank you.

Hello Riders. Just a reminder of NEDTL Carriage Driving Event taking place on the estate with set up from Wednesday 18 September & event days scheduled for Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 September. THE RIDEWAYS WILL BE CLOSED ON SUNDAY 22 SEPTEMBER for their race day. We apolgise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Good morning riders. York & Ainsty Pony Club Show Jumping Competition will be taking place on the estate on Sunday 15th of September in the middle field, behind the house at the horse box parking area. The Rideways will remain open as usual.

Dear Riders, please be aware that forestry work is due to take place from Wednesday 11th September for two weeks at Easterby’s Plantation on the northern extended hacking route.
Also in early October, work will take place on Back Common adjacent to a short section of the Rideways just east of Skipwith village. Please see maps.
Large machinery will be used and trees will be felled adjacent to, but not on the Rideways.
Timber will be stacked adjacent to the bridleway and timber wagons will pick up from this point over the next month or two.
Please take notice of any signs or instructions from the contractors.
Work will be undertaken as quickly as possible to keep disturbance to a minimum. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Course inspection today brings just more bad news. As you can see from the video the ground is just saturated. Even the all weather jumps are impassable so jumps remain closed. We are still open for hacking around booking online.
