Update: The road has now reopened.

The A19 between Thirsk and the Bagby junction will be closed in both directions from 8.15am tomorrow (Tuesday 21 January) for approximately 4 hours for carriageway surveys.

All road users are advised to find alternative routes during this period.

**Unfortunately melting snow means more surface water, so top end of North Moor Lane will probably remain flooded for some time. Remember alternative access to fields can be made via Husthwaite Road from Easingwold**

What a difference a day makes!
This time last year the standing water would have hung around for days after a storm like ‘ Storm Darragh’
But not this year! The drainage works we undertook in Bella field in September have worked wonders 😁

It’s been great weather for the contractors J Atkinson & Son putting the new drainage system in Bella field. A big thank you to them for their hard work & completing it so quickly, minimising disruption & a big thank you to our customers for their patience especially those who had to move their slots from Bella field whilst the works were being carried out It is now complete & Bella Field is open for some fun in the sun ☀️ & ‘freedom to run safely enclosed’ #improvements #teamworkmakesthedreamwork #dogfield #easingwold
