What is pumpkin good for:
šcontains vitamin A which is good for your frogs eye health.
šcontains vitamin c which boosts the immune system. When vitamin c, A and E are combined there is evidence to show it can prevent some cancers from developing.
šcontains healthy omega 3 fatty acids which have anti inflammatory properties.
šhigh fibre and moisture content which can aid with weight loss if you replace some of there food with pumpkin
šmost dogs love the taste and itās something different
šcontains potassium which regulate blood pressure, improves muscle health and boosts the metabolism
švitamin a and zinc improve your pooches skin and coat
špumpkin has high amounts of the amino acid cucurbitacin which is toxic to many parasites that can be inside your dog and has been used to get rid of worms
šhigh moisture content means your dog is hydrated at the same time
šencourages digestive regularity and will aid with constipation
For a small dog serve a couple of teaspoons and up to half a cup for a large dog. Mix in with there meals or freeze into a toy to keep them licking.
