We are currently away on a much needed family holiday from 26th August to the 4th September 2024. Our cattery remains open and is fully staffed. Anybody who has their fur babies on holiday with us during this time and needs to get in touch with the cattery can contact Su on 07713 186034, alternatively if you need to you can 'Whatsapp' or text message me on 07805 884205 and I will forward your message onto to Su. All emails and enquiries will be answered upon my return to work on the 4th September 2024.

I am totally blown away by everyone's words of support and kindness but above all by everyone's generosity. I have far surpassed what my goal was and you have all raised a whopping £365.00 for St Leonards Hospice, thank you all so so much, it has made it all very much worthwhile, thank you all again, I am overwhelmed ###

Hi all,
I n a moment of madness I signed up to do the 10k York run on the 4th August in aid of St Leonard’s Hospice. I am just 2 weeks in and from being very unfit to managing to run…..jog 6k. I’m definitely not a natural runner/jogger but pleased with my progress and feel that the 10k is now doable 😃 will be upping the distance next week! 😩 st Leonard’s Hospice is a great cause and if you would like and if you can any donation however small for this great charity would be gratefully received xx

FLEA TREATMENT
Please can all our fur baby visitors be treated for fleas before they come for their holiday. Unfortunately a few owners have been unknowingly caught out by purchasing off the shelf products from supermarkets or online etc that simply are not effective. A cat coming in with fleas becomes very evident quickly with the presence of flea dirt, black specks that turn dark brown/red when in contact with water, meaning the product used prior to arriving has not had adequate efficacy. At this time of year fleas and ticks are even more prevalent and the importance of protecting our cats and homes regularly as instructed by the individual product is more so important. Please use prescription strength protection which can be purchased from your vet or from registered stores where they have qualified staff SQP’s) to advise and sell you the correct products for your beloved cat before arrival at our Cattery.
Cats that come into our Cattery which are found to have fleas need to be treated straight away as well as the room requiring treatment after departure. I currently do this at cost but please appreciate there is a lot of work involved should this be required.
Please also make sure to worm your cats as any cat with fleas will have ingested fleas which in turn causes worms.
