Here is our colony being a bit more active during feeding time!
Their diet consist of a range of fruit, vegetables and soaked dogfood to provide them with key protein πͺ

Introducing Slim our resident regal tang!
He is a fan favourite (Keeper Sophie's fave) in the aquatics room, he is a complex fish who needs a lot of stimulation and activities to keep him busy and out of mischief!
He is currently starting a training plan, this involves many steps with the end goal being to better his welfare! Positive reinforcement is used through out, providing slim with his favourite treats such as razor clam π¬.
He is currently getting used to feeding of tongs which he is smashing out the ocean π

This time of year is important to our native amphibians. Many of them are travelling to ponds for breeding.
This little frog got themselves stuck this morning and keeper Laura helped them back to the waterside. So much amazing Wildlife on our Wildlife and Conservation Park πΏ

40 Moon Jellyfish have joined us in our aquatics room! Did you know moon jellyfish can be found on the coast of the UK.
These little jellyfish are not on the main exhibit yet. However, look out for open aquatics rooms on our talks board ππ π¦
