Tickets for Armed Forces weekend can be pre-booked online by selecting our ‘season ticket adult (£0)’ when booking online tickets but a valid MOD card, Veterans card or Defence Discount card will need to be presented at the front desk on arrival.
Similarly, tickets can be bought on the day, but again please show a valid aforementioned cards at your arrival on the front desk.

Just some of our ferrets having a walk with our L3 Wakefield companion students… 😍
Ferrets are incredibly curious and intelligent mammals.
They are part of the mustelid family, which includes other members of our collection at the Park - our Asian short-clawed otter pair! 🦦
The UK hosts some amazing native mustelids too. Keep an eye out on your walks for weasels, stoats, Eurasian otters, polecats, and the illusive pine marten, where recent reintroduction projects throughout the country are currently proving quite successful.

Ferrets were first domesticated over 2,000 years ago, and were likely descended from the European polecat.

Patrick update!! 🪶
Just over 3 weeks ago, we introduced Patrick, the Red Legged Seriema, to the wildlife park!
He has started to settle in quite well and gotten used to his new keepers!
Be sure not to miss him up at the training academy on your next visit!
