Established in 1996 by Maggie Keswick Jencks, the centres are located in close proximity to NHS cancer hospitals. Lucy, what led you to joining the Vet Way team?🐄 Coming from a farming background I have always been passionate about livestock, so the opportunity to join Vet-Way was perfect for me. ——— What do you enjoy most about being part of the Vet Way team?🫱🏽‍🫲🏾 The team is great, it lovely to work with such a great bunch of people who are all passionate about what they do. ——— What is an interesting fact about you?🤾🏼‍♀️ I have a Netball coaching qualification and play for a local team. ——— What happens in a typical day in your role?👩🏼‍💻 I am the Supply Chain coordinator for Vet-Way, so I am responsible for stock level management, liaising with Suppliers regarding orders and to negotiate pricing. I also assist with New Product Development. This could be ordering existing products as requested by our customers or being involved in producing brand new products. This is something I really enjoy doing as it requires a lot of research and is always a great learning experience into what customer requirements are for certain products and situations.
