Sorry it’s being a bit quiet on your FurryTails updates in July, I’ve been kept very busy with my own new FurryTail- everyone meet Digby 💙

He will be coming in to the studio gradually over the next few months to get him used to all the noises and smells so some of you will get to meet him!

I’ll be catching up with all the grooms from July this weekend so keep an eye out for your furrytails!

🐶 GRASS SEEDS 🐶

Hi everyone, hope you’re all well! I just wanted to remind you all to check your furrytails paws, especially during these summer months. Grass seeds may look small but they can cause numerous problems for your dogs.

They often get stuck between their toes and in their ears and if they become embedded they can travel deeper into the body, causing a range of health issues including infections, abscesses and even organ damage if left untreated.

Please keep checking after walks! 🐾

🐶 UPDATE 🐶

It’s an exciting week at Furrytails as we have finally moved in to our new premises- we will be doing a post to reveal the new shop this weekend! Apologies if we haven’t mentioned it to you all, we’ve tried our best to let everyone know about the move over the past couple of months.

To go with the move into the new shop Katy has decided it’s now time for her to have her own business name- Introducing Fur & Feather Dog Grooming! From now on all of Katys before & after photos and grooming updates will be posted on the Fur & Feather page linked below! We would recommend for katys customers to like and follow her page and if you need to contact her to now message her on there ☺️

Emily will continue to run as Furrytails as she has for nearly 8 years now and we will both still be working alongside each other!

FurryTails is supporting ‘3 Bears Foundation’ a York based charity raising money for Pancreatic Cancer research. Our Dad is a trustee of the charity and we have offered to help by running a name the bear scratch card.
