Waiting for the storm (that hasn’t felt that bad!) to pass before we drive down south to the Ferry.
Few days later than planned but leaving drinks and sniffles set us back a little 🥴
All that’s left to pack in Penelope are 2 adventure dogs and their excited, anxious, crazy mam!!!
Felt like I’ve been packing her up for weeks now and I’ve certainly not got the space 🤣 but hopefully we have all we need for our adventures.

Wrote this message 3 times today now 😅 but got busy and left the page!!!
So sorry I haven’t been able to organise our big walk. The first week I was in aus coops was pretty poorly and I couldn’t think of sorting anything before coming home and knowing for sure he’s all good 🥲
So I’ve probably left it too late for a walk tomorrow afternoon, not to mention the weather is shocking!!
I will have to see how I get on this week with my long list of to dos but I could be available Sunday next week for a walk, any time 🐾

I just want to say a massive thank you to all my clients for choosing me to take care of your doggo and welcoming me into your homes across the past 4 years.
Almost all the dogs that were with me until the end I’ve had since they were tinie tiny pups and watched them grow, misbehave and flourish 🤣 I’ve also seen so many of your children grow into teenagers!!!! 😮 and they’ve all been a pleasure to work with too as so many loved getting involved with the training.

Thank you all so much for my leaving cards, gifts and shouting my first round of wine and cheese when I get to France 💶🫕🍷😍
I wasn’t able to open them last week as I was too emosh 😫 and me and the dogs escaped York for a few days to decompress from what was a fun, hectic, emotional last couple of weeks 🥺

A few special shout outs are 100% warranted.
First has to be Pawfect Pals Grandpawrents for helping and supporting me set up my little business and keeping me company during so many walks and my mum becoming a secret dog lover (apart from when the labs are in my house circling like sharks with toys in their mouths, that made her dizzy 🤣) and must include Poppy for being my youngest apprentice!! 🥰
Special thanks to Michael for his continued support with the dogs in the past year, the help never stopped and I’m so grateful all the pals still got to see him. He’s been such a huge part of all your dogs lives and I know he will miss them so much. Please wish him luck with his new job in Newcastle!
Cat for joining me on loads of walks which made her decide to get Winnie’s sister, Roo. Which then meant she joined me on even more walks 🤪. I’m surprised Cat decided to get a dog when baby Ralph was so strong and nearly pulled her into the wooden fences round the racecourse 🤣 I know she’ll miss Luka in particular as she’d often still have him for daycare when I was away and she was dog sitting for me.
Have to end thanking Emily and Dan for coming through last min to help keep as many Pals together as possible. Everything happens for a reason and honestly I couldn’t been happier than when Emily rang me.

Crying again 😭 but I’m so excited, albeit nervous of my travel plans.

Our final walk at our favourite special place DogZone it was filled with fun, mud, best furends and treats 🐾
Then they all hated me when I took them for baths 🤣 11 dogs at the dog wash haha but hopefully they all smelt delicious when you got home from work!!! 🤗
Now to clean about 25 towels, 12 crate liners, 8 blankets and 6 drying gowns 😆

Going to have the BEST time at Dogzone one of our favourite special places 🐾

I can imagine it’s quite muddy up there, obviously I am not a groomer and can only clean as best as possible.
however, I’m going to treat mine to the dog wash on hull road after.
If anyone wanted to add their dogs on it’ll just be a fiver for a shampoo and set 😶‍🌫️
I’ll drop any dogs not wanting beforehand and take the rest up there after.

Just because I have only recently posted about the dangers of chewing sticks.

Well yesterday at the woods Coops was being relentless with them, he has moments like this and due to that I have actually muzzle trained him. Anyway, the amount of times I said leave it but I didn’t muzzle him as he was listening in the moment, but not long after going back for more when I wasn’t right there.
Early hours I hear him throwing up, when I go down to check, this is the suspect. This small amount won’t be all he’s managed to consume and will probably be irritating him. He wretched so long to get that out of his system 😞

I don’t want to sound like the dog fun police but a chewed stick can just cause sooo much unnecessary damage!!!

Todays goodbyes went to our Blonde bombshell Clemmie and the little dude Luka. Going to miss you both so much 💛🩶

We had fun splashing and getting muddy but saying bye was so hard 😭

Apologies to everyone if I’ve been a bit quieter this week. The goodbyes have started and I’m sad 😢 apologies in advance next week when I’m ugly crying 😅

Cheeky little legs for his last walk came to one of his favourite places we visit, pawfect pals grandpawrents house!
Think he loves the fake grass and being able to sniff Cooper & Winnie around the place. On top of the fuss and treats he gets 🥰 my family near and far all have such a soft spot for Leo and will certainly miss seeing photos and getting to see him. I’ll miss his daft stubborn ways but don’t change Leo! Don’t wanna walk, you dig those heels in 😅 cba to leave the sofa….no one can blame you. Keep being a good boy 🐾 🤎

Sick of the rain, flooding and soggy van so just as I left the house, got in the van and watched Winnie stare at me longingly through my living room window I quickly checked to see if the barn at Hopewell Dog Park was available and to my surprise and happiness it was 😅 quickly bundled my pair in the van, picked up a friends dog then got our Wednesday pals and now enjoying the spooky themed dry barn 🥰
Arlo isn’t too sure of the new pal and resident dog here 🤔

Hello everyone,
As many of you know, York Dog Park were set to takeover the majority of the business and you, as clients. It is with a heavy heart that I say that they have just pulled out and will no longer be providing services for you and the dogs.
Whilst incredibly disappointing, this is perhaps for the best given how much love and dedication has been put into Pawfect Pals over the years.
I’m truly sorry - this is not the outcome I wanted or planned tirelessly for.
If you have questions, feel free to drop me a message and we can arrange a chat so we can discuss further.
For now My main focus is enjoying my last couple of weeks with the dogs and making sure they have the best last outings with me, Coops and Winnie 🐾
