It's Tongue Out Tuesday - CHRISTMAS Edition! 😛❄️🎄

We snapped a few fun photos of our guests during the festive season and thought we’d share with you in the spirit and delight! 🥰🎄

Dogs’ noses are not only super sensitive to scents - they also have an incredible ability to differentiate between different types of smells. If your dog smells a treat bag, they can tell you exactly what flavour it is, even if it’s sealed! 🐾🍖😱

🎄🐾 The countdown to Christmas is on, and we couldn’t be more excited at Derrings! 🎉✨

As the days get shorter and the fairy lights start twinkling, our hearts are filled with joy! We’re already decking the halls with festive decorations, and we’re so happy to see our furry friends basking in the glow of the festive spirit 🐶❤️

The festive season is the paw-fect time for tasty treats! 🎅🍪🥰

Want to spoil your dog with something special? Try this easy homemade Christmas dog treat recipe that we love to create this time of year for our pups!

🦴 250ml oat flour
🦴 70g peanut butter
🦴 70g pumpkin puree
🦴 1 egg

Mix the ingredients, roll flat, cut into your dog’s favourite shapes, and bake at 180°C for 10 minutes! 🎄

We recommend checking that the peanut butter and pumpkin puree are dog-friendly and 100% pure, avoiding artificial sweeteners or any additional ingredients that may be unsuitable for dogs!

🌟🐾 National Walk Your Dog Week! 🐾🌟

From 1st - 7th October, we’ll be celebrating National Walk Your Dog Week by venturing outdoors and enjoying quality time with our furry friends! 🐶🚶‍♂️

We ensure we walk your dog at least 3 times a day when they stay with us so they can:

🐾 Maintain their healthy lifestyle
🐾 Stay happy whilst staying at the kennels
🐾 Improve bone and cardiovascular strength
🐾 Strengthen their bond with other dogs
🐾 Enjoy the great outdoors and feel the wind through their ears!

We’re encouraging everyone to grab the lead and make this week all about wagging tails and happy trails! 🌳🏞️
