We offer home from home style accommodation with secure pa No loud smelly rooms here!! No appointment needed!

Here at Derrings we offer luxury accommodation for all breeds and styles of dogs. Each room is central heated and only has up to 4 kennels inside with low stress levels and good air quality. All guests can have up to 4 off lead walks a day in one of our 4 ring fenced paddocks set in 9 acres. Other services offered:

On site Pet shop; stocking a wide variety of dog foods an

d treats
Pet delivery and collection

Our four legged guests have been loving their time in the great outdoors, and we’ve snapped some brilliant moments mid-play. Tongues out and tails in full wag mode! 🐾

🐾 Meet the Team: Ros 🐾

Say hello to Ros! 👋 Since joining us back in March last year, Ros has become a familiar and friendly face around Derrings Kennels. As one of our brilliant kennel assistants, she plays a big part in making sure all of our four-legged guests feel safe, happy and loved during their stay 💙

From early morning tail wags to evening cuddles, Ros is always there with a smile (and usually a tennis ball or toy in hand ready for playtime!) 🦴

We’re so lucky to have her as part of the Derrings team - thank you, Ros! ✨

We had a worrying day on Monday with Adrian's dog Pippop!

Thank you to the amazing team at Galtres Vets for getting her into surgery in good time and for getting her through it! 💖

We rushed her in after her showing signs of gastric dilation - volvulus (GDV) which basically means the stomach fills with air or fluid (dilation) and twists (volvulus). The twisting doesn’t happen in every case, they can get bloat where the stomach just fills with fluid, food or gas. In Pippop's case it was gas!

The main things to look out for are vomiting, retching and non-productive vomiting, restlessness and a swollen abdomen but this isn’t always obvious. It is a life threatening emergency and requires immediate surgery, and has a guarded prognosis due to how unwell it makes them.

We are so thankful to the whole team at the vets who helped get her to this point and we have everything crossed for a full recovery with pops! 🤞🏼🐾

During February half-term, the pups here at Derrings had an absolute blast 🐾💖

We had the pleasure of looking after so many happy, playful dogs, and we loved every minute of it. Each pup had the best time and we managed to capture some of those moments along the way 📸🐶
