As the nights start drawing in and the temperature starts to drop, it may be time to start thinking about wrapping up your dogs for walks. π§₯
This is particularly relevant for short haired breeds such as greyhounds and whippets, who will feel the cold more. π₯Άπ‘

Doodle's Diary ππΎ
As "all is safely gathered in" the last of the summer days are being enjoyed by Doodle and Barnaby. ππ
They are both so full of energy, but who do you think will tire first?! π€π
This is our dispensary and imaging suite.
Our imaging suite is where pets can undergo x-rays and ultrasound scans. This equipment is perfect for monitoring pregnancies or soft tissue injuries.
The technology is fully integrated with the computer system too so uploads the images straight to the clientβs clinical file - making it a very speedy process. π€π
If you have been to see one of our vets then you will probably recognise this consultation room.
If you havenβt visited us yet, most vet appointments are held in this room where our vets have everything they need to check over your pet.
We hope to see you soon! π€π
Welcome to the Birchwood reception!
This is where you will be welcomed by a member of the Birchwood team and can take a seat until it's your appointment time. π€π
We hope you love our reception area as much as we do!

πΎDOODLE'S DIARY π
Doodle is enjoying the warm weather and is spending the sunny evenings hay making with Barnaby and his four-legged friends. πππ€
Following on from last week's post about Doodle and the importance of muzzles - we thought you'd like to see how, with a bit of training and perseverance, Doodle is much happier wearing his muzzle!
May is Veterinary Nurse Appreciation Month.
Here's one of our Apprentice Veterinary Nurses, Maggie, doing the very important checks as part of Intravenous fluid therapy.
Thank you Maggie for all you do for Birchwood's clients.
DOODLEβs DIARY ππΎ Hereβs a video of Barnaby horseriding and Doodle staying close by so they can both be out and about enjoying the countryside. π΄π³
DOODLEβS DIARY πΎπ
As we come out of the other side of the Easter weekend π«π₯a walk (or a run if youβre Doodle!) is a great way to spend a morning.
Doodle enjoyed his first trip to the beach and had fun splashing in the sea! π
