Very sad to see this, what an amazing and inspirational man.
We had the pleasure a couple of years ago to meet Rob and his family at a function when we were out with the reindeer.
Our thoughts go out to Rob's family and friends at this very sad time

I have only just heard this verse in Mariah Carey's "All I want for christmas"
"I won't make a list and send it to the North Pole for Saint Nick
I won't even stay awake to hear those magic reindeer click"
Did you know Reindeer make a clicking sound when they walk, and not just when up on a housetop. Tendons snap over sesamoid bones in their feet, and that's what makes the click. The clicking helps the members of a herd stay in contact, especially in snowstorms or when it's foggy

Last night we took Cupid and Comet to Rosevale care home to see the residents and their familys.
Cupid was a little unsettled whilst there and kept rubbing his head on my arm (he does this regularly on me to itch) so I didn't think much of it, until his antler fell off!
Don't worry it doesn't hurt them, (it's just like us losing a tooth) they shed their antlers every year, with the male's quite often losing theirs before Christmas!

Yesterday we were at the Wentbridge House Hotel for their family festive Christmas event. Where families came for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea, and did activities such as stuffing a soft toy fox, icing gingerbread men, face painting and of course meeting Santa Claus of Yorkshire and Cupid and Comet

Saturday Cupid and Comet were at The Mount school Christmas fair, where Santa and his Elf also popped in to see them

Santa took Cupid and Comet to see everyone at York Motor Yacht club at their Christmas party. He also handed out some presents to the children who were there

On Thursday we had a very wet visit to Greenhill primary school with Cupid and Comet.
The school was having their Christmas fair, with Santa in his grotto, a giant snow globe and stalls.
