Honest Dancer and Prancer do more than just eat! Yesterday at a care home they did great the residents and families and not just eat! The elf's however!! They were treated to mince pies and Christmas cake 😋

Dancer and Prancer were at Puddleducks Nursery at Malton this morning, and the elves were very lucky to get a gingerbread biscuit with their cup of tea 🍪

2 trips out today, a morning visit to puddleducks Nursery to see the children there followed by an afternoon visit to Oakland care home to see the residents and staff

Last night we were at the port of Middlesbrough at the AV Dawson family Christmas fun evening. They had Christmas stalls, a brass band, a milkshake van and a fire engine burger van for everyone to enjoy. There were also some cheeky elves running around and Santa was also there in his sleigh to meet all the children. The weather may have been wet but it didn't dampen anyone's spirits!

Yesterday we had a trip out to Haxby Road School with Dancer and Prancer. We had a great day meeting all of the classes. We had a lovely email from the school, it's nice to know that they all enjoyed it and we are doing our job well in educating people on reindeer 🦌🦌

Our second day at Kirkleatham, and the weather was kind to us! So were the staff there when they sent us a lovely hot chocolate and reindeer biscuit 🍪 😋

Yesterday trip out to Kirkleatham with Dancer and Prancer. We are back there today but it doesn't look like the weather is going to be as kind today as it was yesterday!
Dancer lost one of her antlers earlier this week (a normal thing in the reindeer's life cycle that happens every year, it's just like us losing a tooth) so we were a bit lopsided, until late on in the day when her other one fell off! 😔

Today we visited Brotton village hall for their Christmas fair. Dancer and Prancer enjoyed meeting the many people who came along.
After a horrible start to the day with the snow and rain (hence why I look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards!) the weather played nicely for the rest of the day

We had our first trip out of the year together. We went to see the residents at Mulberry Court Care Home celebrate their 25th anniversary of opening today. We also got to meet the Lord Mayor of York, Councillor Margaret Wells.

Very sad to see this, what an amazing and inspirational man.
We had the pleasure a couple of years ago to meet Rob and his family at a function when we were out with the reindeer.
Our thoughts go out to Rob's family and friends at this very sad time
