Shai is one of our sweetest pups, in need of a home.
He is all about his human.
Very easy, social, loyal male boxer mix, who would do everything to be close to his person.
Whenever you are near, he will be glued to you.
He curls up calmly while you work, but ready to go for any adventure anytime.
He has a lot to learn, but he is good even when walking in busy downtown areas, he behaves well in cafes and restaurants, and is good with dogs.
He is now learning to stay home alone: less and less crying, more and more confidence when he has to wait.
He learns incredibly fast, and he loves cuddles.

Max...
Max has always been a monogamous boy - first, he spent all his time with Mama. They were the ultimate couple, spending every minute together.
After Mama left the shelter, Max started hanging out with Gina.
And now it is Gina who is by his side on his most difficult days.

We just got the news that this poor baby was badly hit by a car.
We are helping financially the kind people who took this pup from clinic to clinic, until they found someone who is ready to do the emergency surgery.
Fingers crossed all will go well.

We are grateful to all those who support our work so we can help in such cases.

Our Max is among the first residents in the shelter.
He is now 14 years old, which in itself is a miracle.
He lived almost all of his life in the shelter - as we are a no kill rescue, we care for every dog that arrives until they find a home or pass away.

Max is now he aging rapidly.
He has been in pain recently because of his arthritis and other ailments - we need medication, hyaluronic acid injections to help him.
We know he will not live long now, however we want that to be without pain, so please help us and donate so we could make sure that this loyal, gentle old boy can live his last few months comfortably.

Happy to report that today another pup went for a trial period, fingers crossed all will work out.
He was chosen by an amazing family, he will have two human siblings and two wonderful human parents.

We are searching for this lovely dog in Ushguli.
He has a home already, we would like to find him, manage his paperwork and get him to his new home.
He usually stays around Ushguli or the treks around it, sometimes joining tourists on their hikes.

Please if you are visiting Ushguli and you stop this pup, just take a photo of the dog and the location and send it to us so we could organize transport!

Everyone knows Othello and Desdemona
This beloved pair was neutered, vaccinated, and tagged by us a couple of years ago, and since then, they’ve been living near the Opera, lovingly cared for by members of the administration and musicians.

Recently, Otto (Othello) began showing signs of discomfort, developing sores on his elbow and not quite being his usual self. Sadly, he has tested positive for Leishmania.

We’re incredibly grateful to our veterinary friends in Bonn, Germany, who are helping us with the treatment he needs.
