Sadly we have been very disappointed with the reaction to our support of the Dimos shelter...it seems while we were doing a very public rescue they pretended to actually care...since then we have been pushed away from actually monitoring the care of the dogs there...
Hence why this page is going to close down and we are heartbroken for allowing them to take in the pups and mum we spent days rescuing..

Of course if anyone wants a dog please go there and Save them 🙏

There is a lovely super friendly female cat no more than a year old and petite only 3,5 kg. She loves cuddles and she is very nice with other cats. She is operated on the ears. She purrs a lot and she is very nice when traveling with the car!
She is looking for a home and she lives in Kokkino Chorio.
If someone is interested let us know!

A new boy who just joined the shelter, is a shy, good heart boy not more than a year old. He is very beautiful, middle size, he is is a little bit afteaid at his new environment so we are struggling to find him a new home where he could give love.

Did you know that there are two female shepherds ( one is two years old and the other one about one and a half) and a lovely female hunting dog, all lovely, friendly caressing and adorable souls?

Ok Crete, help me help with a foster placement, or forever home.
Poor boy was in a bad state on a walking route, and was still there in the same spot hours later. So he has been collected and taken to the vet- Belly full of worms and pneumonia, but responding well to treatment so should hopefully make a full recovery. Approx 2 months old.
We are leaving soon so its a terrible time to try and take on a foster, and he will be returned to where he was found if we can’t 😢
Suggestions of “can’t you just keep him”, are not helpful.

Message from the local Tsivaras shelter

Με κάθε υιοθεσία από το καταφύγιο θα δίνεται 50% έκπτωση στο λογαριασμό της υδρευσης. Προϋπόθεση ο ιδιοκτήτης του σκυλου να έχει λογαριασμό στο όνομα του. Θα γίνετε ελεγχος για την καλή κατάσταση του σκύλου.

For every adoption from the shelter, there would be a 50% discount from the water bill. Requirement, the name of the new pet owner should be the same with the name in the water bill. There will be regular checks for the good condition of the dog.

I am a lovely 9 months old male puppy! I live in the shelter but I am looking for a sweet home to offer love, affection and joy! I am very friendly with humans and dogs. I haven’t been in contact with a cat but I don’t think I will have a problem because I am a good boy!

Carmela: Update: Ready For Adoption by the law to be chipped, neutered.
3 months old, vaccinated, defleaded, dewarmed.
Just appeared. She will visit the vet next week for first vaccine, spot on, dewarm pill etc.
Located in Apokoronas Chania and can flight anywhere for a loving home.

Η τσουρδω εμβολιαστηκε και αποπαρασιτωθηκε μέσα εξω.
Υγιέστατη, φιλικωτατη. Πάει στην άμμο της και παίζει μόνη της , οι υπόλοιποι του σπιτιού είναι ενήλικοι, δεν την καταδέχονται
Ψάχνει σπιτάκι με συνομήλικο ιδανικά . Τα πάει καλά με όλους και με σκυλιά
Βοηθός ζυμωτηρίου διατίθεται προς υιοθεσία (με ότι ορίζει ο νόμος : συμβόλαιο, τσιπακι, στείρωση μπορώ να την αναλάβω και δίχτυ στα μπαλκόνια.)

Three adorable ( two females and a male) just saved from Kokkino Chorio! They are sociable only 3-4 months old, lovely character same as their mother. They all live with their adorable mother in our shelter and they look for a someone to give them love and a beautiful life!
