This adorable boy was running in the villages outside the city with his buddy.
The shelter was full so Stavroula would visit with food and check on them. Sadly one day when she arrived his little buddy had died. Stavroula could not bare to see this lovely boy left alone so took him to her own flat. After blood tests it was found his life living rough had left him with several health issues.
Treatment started and his search for a home started. Homing a dog with a list of health issues is not easy but Finn was such a perfect little dog in so many ways one of our lovely foster families offered to take him in and it wasn’t long before the perfect home came along for this lovely boy.

Pluto was the worst case of neglect that any of us had ever seen.
This beautiful boy was thrown from a car and dumped on the floor outside the shelter gates very late at night.
Luckily S was still at the shelter and found him before getting in her car to go home.
He was a virtual skeleton,completely unable to stand and was barely alive.
The vets said he was unlikely to pull through but we are VERY pleased to say that they were wrong!
After several months of intensive treatment he was well enough to travel to his Elpida forever home where he now has a fantastic life with his new family the lovely Osbornes.
Pluto now lives the life that the shelter dogs and the street strays can only dream of. A life full of beaches,and new sniffs,holidays and comfy beds,kisses and cuddles.
This stunning segugio boy is the reason many supporters found Elpida and he has helped raise awareness of the plight of the Greek strays.
