Distance Control: A New Journey
I'm excited to share our training process in the exercise of Distance Control! Here are some key steps we're working on:
1. Stand to Sit: I teach the dog to stop with their front legs and bring their rear end in while in motion.
2. Sit to Stand: The front legs stay fixed while the rear legs move back. At this stage, I emphasize body movement and mechanics rather than accuracy.
3. Stand - Down - Stand: All paws remain in the same place with backward body movement.
4. Down - Sit - Down: Sometimes, I add a Stand in between to maintain fluid motion.
In the coming days, I'll challenge them further by adding targets for the front and rear legs. Thank you for watching, and happy training to everyone!

Disc Dog Fun with the Puppies! 🎉
Today, our puppies are 9 months old, and it’s time to start their Disc Dog (frisbee) training! In the video below, we’re diving into the game while focusing on teamwork and communication. We're working on handling exercises, flatwork, setup moves, and a bunch of other skills too.
I love recording these sessions to improve my communication with the puppies. Watching the footage, I realized I need to work on my triggers for better understanding from their perspective, and of course, my disc throws!

Last week, my good friend Kostas Tosidis brought me some truffles, marking the start of our fun adventure in training my puppies for truffle hunting! In this first week, I made a video capturing their adorable efforts. I've hidden the truffles inside one of my shoes, arranging several shoes in a half circle on the floor.
