For those who are interested, here is a short update in regards to the recent sad events at the little farm… We have been to the main council office to report the incident to the relavent department, and no surprise that the person we needed to speak to was unavailable and non contactable. After some perseverance we were able to speak over the telephone to a council representative. As we were dissatisfied with the results of this conversation we decided to visit the mayors office. After waiting patiently and explaining the incident once again we were informed that emergency spaces for the capture of these dogs will be immediately available. Not only have our animals been injured and brutally killed but we work alongside schools and the local community who need to feel safe in the area and we promise that this matter will not be left unsolved and we will fight for safety and justice until results are seen. The injured animals are still very shaken and quiet. They are being loved and injections and after care are being administered to nurse them back to health. In the last couple of days we have allowed them to roam the farm again in the hope they regain their confidence. Thank you everyone for your donations, kind comments and messages.
