Just some of our rescued street dogs. Dulce is such a sweet dog who was run over and had a terrible injury. We had to amputate her leg but she is very happy with three legs! Please help us to support the unwanted dogs with just a small donation. www.fundamaya.org
Our little baby girl that was dumped in a plastic bag outside our door when she had just been born, is now starting to find her feet and wants to walk!! I love her coloring, black head, and white body!
Update on black puppy. Thanks to your donations the puppy has received medical care and was released today. You can see by this video that this puppy is so happy and is saying thank you!!!! I am so glad that he is doing so well. Thank you so much to everyone who helped. Now we need a name for him. Any suggestions???
Yesterday was the Day of the Street dog but we are late by one day. But nevertheless, we want to honor the street dogs who are abandoned, unloved, hungry, hurt and scared. Please help us to continue to help the unwanted dogs by spaying, neutering, and providing care. www.fundamaya.org
A little video of two of our rescued dogs. One is Toby, the little white(ish) fluffy dog who looks to be something maltese-like, who is old and blind. He was abandoned on the mountainside and was just terrified. He was lucky someone brought him to our attention and Zoe went and rescued him. Then the Husky is probably about 6 years old and he was living in a house but the people decided that they didn't want him anymore and threw him out, when he tried to go back home, they would hit him and throw sticks at him. We were alerted to his situation and we couldn't leave him there to be abused.
We are in need of someone who would like to sponsor Husky for $10 US per month to help us with his food costs. Thank you so much we have a very kind person who is sponsoring Toby now!
Any donations to help provide food and medical care would be greatly appreciated. Toby has since had his both eyes removed as they were swelling and causing him pain, but he was already blind. Thank you to the people who supported his medical care
To donate, please go to www.fundamaya.org. and note that it is for animals.
Thank you to the people who so kindly and generously donated to help the mama cat that was in distress. Thanks to you we were able to get her to the veterinarian. She had an infection and she had a severe inflammation of her stomach. The infection is the reason that the baby kitten was born dead. The Veterinarian said that the mama cat would probably not have survived getting pregnant again. She now has the medication she needs and she has now been spayed! Thank you so much for your support to make this happen! The mama cat has an owner who was so grateful. She was so upset because she could not afford to take the cat to the vet. She was crying that she would lose her beloved cat.
Here is a quick video from her thanking you! The translation says
" Thank you to all the people who saved the life of my cat" You can see that she loves her cat and how grateful she is.
Update on the kitty below who was in distress giving birth. I want to thank everyone who donated. The kitty had an infection and severe inflammation of her stomach. There were no more kittens inside of her. The vet. said it would have been very bad for her to get pregnant again, she may not have survived it.
The kitty has an owner but she is a woman who did not have the possibility to be able to pay for medical care. She was very sad and was crying as she did not want to lose her beloved cat.
Thankfully, due to your kindness and generosity, the cat was given the medication she needs and she was spayed so she will not get pregnant again. Thank you so much for helping her. Here is the owner thanking you, " Thank you to the persons who saved my cat"
