A few days ago, we had a concerning case involving a 7-year-old dog that came to our clinic showing signs of anorexia, fever (41 degrees Celsius), and purulent vaginal discharge. Upon further investigation, we discovered that the dog had been artificially inseminated on July 5th, 2023. Our team, led by Dr. Wilson, quickly diagnosed the condition as Open Pyometritis and performed an immediate ovario-hysterectomy. We're relieved to share that the surgery was successful, and the patient is currently on the road to recovery.

This situation highlights a crucial issue that needs addressing. As pet parents, the responsibility lies with us to ensure the well-being of our furry companions. It is vital to provide them with the care they deserve and to trust qualified professionals for their health needs.
