清拆過會將寫字樓傢俬電器賣出
但絕少儲存( 土地問題）😫
唔啱用嘅只能一手來一手去
Most of the removal and demolition companies resell office furnitures and appliances, but not many would store them and redistribute them to match new users.🤦🏼
舉例For example:
🤦🏼♀️ 寫字枱拆除四隻鐵腳去賣而木板- 掉 Office desk legs will be dismantled and sold as metals but the wooden desk top would be discarded.
🤦🏼♀️ 唔work嘅電器唔會/冇時間維修- 掉 broken appliances will be discarded instead of getting it fixed and reused.

雖然成績唔係標靑
但2024仍然打算努力下去
SOUSOU has accomplished the 3 year goal we have set for ourselves, the results are not outstanding but we are determined to keep going.

- 發展咗去西九龍同觀塘（貨Van隧道費越嚟越貴) 😅expanded our collection service to West Kowloon and Kwun Tong (🚛very expensive tunnel tolls for vans)
- 做咗有綫訪問（📺公司同貓咪第一次上鏡） Interviewed by cable tv (office and 🐱cat’s first tv appearance)
- 街頭快閃免費收集冷門物資（嚟緊農曆新年未決定開辦）🧧First LNY flash collection events of resources
- 右手✋🏼終於廢咗（好彩多咗啲男同事幫手）Injured right wrist (lucky to have a few guys on our team to help out)👫
- 識到啱嘴型嘅NGO拍住上（環保加動保） Got to know a like-minded NGO🐈🦮 (on environmental and animal protection)
- 幫4️⃣個office 用戶清晒啲物資（滿足嘅攰）Cleared out 4 office spaces and redistributed resources (tiring but satisfying)
- 簽咗國際學校（小學🐔學環保) Landed on an international school client (fun to teach kids about proper recycling in HK)
- 喺淺水灣同用戶嘅鄰居開波🔥🤨（仍有陰影） Got into a heated argument with the neighbour of Repulse Bay client (still living under the shadow)
- 趕及年尾同銀行更新新一年合約（為2023畫上完美句號）🌟Renewed a yearly contract with our bank client (a wonderful wrap up for 2023)🌟

Some news to share: we are now collecting disposable batteries 🔋for recycling! But if you have a whole bunch of them, please pass them to us in smaller batches as they are seriously heavy!

充電嗰種大家可以比返大廈枱頭
或者地鐵站
冇錯地鐵站嘅電池回收箱只係收充電池
大家要分/睇清楚
唔好傻豬豬嘥咗自己力水

Please note we are collecting only 👉🏻disposable AA/ AAA/ button cells.
For “rechargeable” batteries, some buildings have collection boxes or MTR has bins as they are to be handled differently.

There is actually no disposable batteries recycling facilities in HK. 🤷🏻♀️Collected batteries will be tallied and handed to a licensed dealer to be exported to be recycled.

屋企裝修兩個月
用戶冇打算短暫暫停上門服務之餘
仲為裝修師傅們設置一個回收角落
廚房廁所已經打爛晒
仍留返水喉位用嚟洗手洗回收
Home renovations in progress, but not only did our service user temporarily suspend collection service, a recycling corner was set up for the sifus. And the taps in the bathroom and kitchen were left intact for hand washing and cleaning recyclables!

師傅們真係沖乾淨晒所有嘢
主要係外賣盒、水樽同汽水罐
有啲行業唔能夠勉強佢哋隨時候隨地做到減廢
Sifus were all very cooperative and recycled clean food containers, bottles and drink cans! While it is hard for certain job natures to reduce waste at source, but clean recycling is certainly more feasible! 💪🏻💪🏻
💚Clean recycling is for everyone! Imagine the number of water bottles saved from the sifus in the heat!

（部份發現係神隱兼咁甩皮甩骨，唯有職員上身執返正佢）
💚The rack is black in colour and usually placed behind cashiers. At some stores the rack might be well-hidden or poorly maintained, so we tidy it up for them!🤝
客人俾錢先見有再用袋提供係離奇嘅！
希望能夠放喺入口🤦🏼♀️
It’s a bit strange that this bag rack where people would have already paid and on their way out! Probably be more effective and popular if placed at the entrance of the shops.😛

As for disposable utensils that accumulate at such a rate, try reaching out to a local small eatery to see if they would take your clean, unused utensils packs! Its a win-win for saving costs as well as reducing the raw materials used in the production process such as fossil fuels, water and energy.🌎

Couldn’t carry out our normal collection routine for two Fridays consecutively. 🙏🏼🙏🏼We are really sorry for the inconvenience as well as worried that recyclables have accumulated at your homes! 🥹🥹At the same time, we worry about our team’s safety, and whether heading out would cause burden on works to get the city back on track. 🚑🚒
Also unsure about collecting 3 times the normal amount if we wait till next week… 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️too much to worry about means no sleep until dawn.
And seeing the animals shelters struggling with the weather conditions just adds on to the uneasiness. 💔💔
