好多主人餵藥時都會有疑惑：究竟點切藥先至確保份量準確㗎🤔 係咪應該用鉸剪🤔

⚠️ 記得喺食藥之前切！亦唔好一次過切晒所有藥！因為藥量有機會改變，亦可能受潮影響藥效！

⚪️ 圓形藥切法：
1/3粒、1/6粒：建議先對半切，再用其中一半切去一角，確保藥量均勻✅
1/2粒、1/4粒：跟住圖中切割指引操作即可！

📏 長形藥切法：
按圖片藥粒嘅分割線，切成 1/2粒、1/3粒、1/4粒或1/6粒，就確保精準！

✨ 小貼士：

⚪️ Method for Round Pills:
- For 1/3 or 1/6 of a pill: It’s recommended to first cut the pill in half, then cut one piece into the required portion to ensure even dosing. ✅
- For 1/2 or 1/4 of a pill: Follow the cutting guidelines shown in the image!

📏 Method for Long Pills:
- Follow the division lines on the pill as shown in the image to cut it into 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, or 1/6 pieces for precise dosing!

【個案分享の腹膜炎】

傳統傳染性腹膜炎發炎蛋白GLOB會偏高，而且ALB/GLOB ratio會低於0.6

而今次我哋呢個個案就係一個非典形嘅分享個案

🐱1 歲嘅LouLou
今年3月因嘔吐🤮、厭食🤢去咗另一間診所求醫驗血，食咗杜蟲藥都冇改善。

轉嚟我哋醫院後
🔍 檢查經過
🔺 超聲波發現淋巴腫脹 +胰臟炎
所以安排留院同埋進行進一步嘅採樣化驗
🔺 化驗結果：只顯示發炎沒有其他問題，留院3日後好轉回家

🚨複診時：LouLou只有其中一個發炎蛋白GLOB稍微偏高但蛋白比例正常、淋巴縮細比預期慢、體重沒有上升

綜合上述所有病徵我哋開始使用腹膜炎藥物✅
→ 體重上升、胃口改善😋、腫脹淋巴亦縮細✨

結論
FIP（腹膜炎）唔能夠單靠驗血數據/化驗確診
✅ 需結合：臨床症狀＋影像檢查＋排除其病因

初診（3 月）：3.27 kg
現在：5.0 kg，精神食慾大增😽

In traditional cases of infectious peritonitis, inflammatory protein GLOB tends to be elevated, and the ALB/GLOB ratio is usually below 0.6.

Today, we’re sharing an atypical case for learning purposes.

🐱 Meet LouLou (1 year old)
In March, LouLou visited another clinic due to vomiting 🤮 and loss of appetite 🤢. Blood tests were conducted, and deworming medication was prescribed, but there was no improvement.

When LouLou was transferred to our hospital:

🔍 Examination Process
- Ultrasound Results: Swollen lymph nodes and pancreatitis were detected.
- Hospitalization and additional sampling and tests were arranged.
- Lab Results: Indicated inflammation but no other issues. LouLou improved after a 3-day hospital stay and was sent home.

🚨 Follow-Up Observations
At the follow-up:
- GLOB was slightly elevated, but the protein ratio was normal.
- Swollen lymph nodes reduced slower than expected.
- No weight gain was observed.

Treatment Plan
Based on the symptoms and findings, we started FIP treatment ✅:
- LouLou showed significant improvements:
- Weight gain
- Increased appetite 😋
- Swollen lymph nodes reduced ✨

Conclusion
FIP cannot be diagnosed solely through bloodwork or lab results.
✅ Diagnosis requires:
- Clinical symptoms
- Imaging tests
- Exclusion of other potential causes

📊 LouLou’s Progress
- Initial Weight (March): 3.27 kg
- Current Weight: 5.0 kg
LouLou is now thriving with improved energy and appetite 😽.

夏日熱辣辣好熱好熱☀️，人會中暑，貓都會！貓貓唔易散熱，中暑風險高！🔥

中暑徵狀
❗️ 張口喘氣 / 呼吸急促
❗️ 精神不振 / 嘔吐 / 昏迷
❗️ 眼瞼周遭變紅

預防方法
☀️ 保持涼爽、空氣流通：早上至中午長開冷氣、用風扇、避免陽光直射
💧 補充水份：確保有清涼水可飲
🛝 降溫物品：冰涼墊

懷疑中暑點算？
1️⃣ 移至陰涼處，用濕毛巾降溫（勿用冰水）
2️⃣ 提供少量清水並非灌水❗

The summer heat is scorching! ☀️ Just like humans, cats can suffer from heatstroke too! Cats have difficulty cooling themselves down, making them highly susceptible to heatstroke. 🔥

Signs of Heatstroke:
❗️ Open-mouth panting / Rapid breathing
❗️ Lethargy / Vomiting / Fainting
❗️ Red discoloration around eyelids

Prevention Tips:
☀️ Keep Cool and Ventilated:
- Use air conditioning or fans from morning to noon.
- Avoid direct sunlight.

💧 Stay Hydrated:
- Ensure your cat has access to fresh, cool water.

🛝 Cooling Items:
- Use cooling mats or similar products.

What to Do If You Suspect Heatstroke?
1️⃣ Move your cat to a shaded, cool area and use a damp towel to lower their body temperature (avoid ice water).
2️⃣ Offer small amounts of water—do not force-feed! ❗

🦟 蚊亦可作為傳播致命心絲蟲嘅媒介（即使感染率較狗低）
