Each year we work with all the other pet shippers globally to support a request for one sleigh and 9 Reindeer to take flight. Every country has rules and regulations and each year the paperwork, health certificates and import permits need to be applied for. We do our part at PetExportVet to coordinate the inward touchdown into Hong Kong and transit onto the next destination. This year it has been easier as the youngest reindeer "Rudolph" has continued to have a glowing red nose and Dr Gerry has given the all clear for the health certificate ruling out sinus infection or influenza. Reindeer 2, known as "Dancer" has some joint disease but given the age and the amount of dancing this reindeer has done over the years the health certificate gauged Dancer Fit2Fly. "Dasher" Reindeer 1, is still as fast as ever and age hasn't slowed this one down at all so it's great to see Dasher continue in number 1 place keeping the pace for the team because taking flight and keeping flight schedules is key to a successful mission again this year. As usual Reindeer 3 "Prancer" continues to be aloof, unfortunately we must do these checks and paperwork each year to ensure we meet all regulations, Prancer seems to be unimpressed with the paperwork this reindeer needs to endure each year. Reindeer 5 "Comet continues to be strong and certainly healthy but is beginning to show a stubborn streak so Dr Gerry has advised that reindeer 3 "Prancer" and reindeer 5 "Comet" are kept apart if possible so as not to abruptly halt and cause the sleigh to end up off course. Reindeer 4 "Vixen" Reindeer 6 "Cupid" and Reindeer 8 "Blitzen" are as sweet as ever and Fit2Fly again this year. However Reindeer 7 "Donner" is showing some hormonal changes and this reindeer normally likes to parent the younger reindeer, this year Dr Gerry has noted some hormonal changes and she is not in the mood to be messed with this year, it will be interesting to see if Donner returns next year or if a break in routine is in order! https://wix.to/7126GTO
