Hi, my Filippina friend of eight years, Imee, who is a domestic helper, is looking for a new employer from September, when she ends her current contract, having been with the same employer for the last four years. She would like to be based on Lamma. She is a brilliant cook (Chinese and Philippine food) incredibly kind, really amazing with dogs and has a positive attitude. She can work independently and is skilled in many areas, such as needlework (great at fashion) and marketing. She is an all round fabulous person and her daughters (18 and 27) in the Philippines are high achievers. Imee is looking for a new employer on Lamma and has experience caring for children aged new born to teenagers. Imee is a fantastic person and has such a great attitude; any employer would be blessed to have her. We first met when she was looking after a dog I had been training that was really very troubled (aggressive). That dog bonded with her immediately. Children also quickly see her as a role model and trusted adult. She is a real gem. She is very practical, reliable and knows how to get things done. She is a also a pleasure to be around. This is how much fur I got off Mel with the Furminator tonight. It is a useful tool. Doesn't hurt her and she felt comfortable. She doesn't like normal brushes but likes this. She is shedding right now.

Adoption Announcement for Rugby!

My friend who's been fostering the sweetest little pup named Rugby has just asked me to spread the word that this 1 month old bundle of joy is now up for adoption!

Rugby came to them through the Hong Kong Saving Cats and Dogs Association, and he's been an absolute dream to have around. This friendly guy gets along great with both people and other dogs - he loves nothing more than following my friend around and bringing them toys to play with. He's a real smart cookie too, he's fully potty trained and even learning some fun tricks like sit, come, high five and hand. With all that energy and enthusiasm, Rugby would be the perfect addition to an active household.

If you've got room in your life for a new furry bestie, I can't say enough good things about this pup. Rugby is sure to bring tons of joy and companionship, what with his quick-learning nature and growing bag of tricks. Please consider giving this special guy the loving forever home he deserves.
